專利翻譯特點

一、專利文獻翻譯要求1. 公司對翻譯質(zhì)量要求很嚴格，請盡量忠實原文進行翻譯，勿丟失內(nèi)容；PCT申請中存在的錯誤也不必改正，稍作標(biāo)記即可；2. 同一篇專利文件中的詞語、術(shù)語翻譯必須前后一致，可在word文檔中以全文取代方式確保之；3. 同一篇專利文件中意思相近的詞語盡量以不同的中文翻出，例如：element/元件、component/部件、member/構(gòu)件、part/零件；4. 二、專利說明書的幾大部分Title of invention發(fā)明名稱Background of the invention 發(fā)明背景Field of the invention發(fā)明領(lǐng)域Related 首次提到的部件最好放在句末。4.同一篇專利中單位是要統(tǒng)一，全字母/全中文5.連詞“and”and連接幾個并列句時，有時表示并列或動作的先后順序，不需要每個and都譯出，最后一個and有時可譯為“而”，如X is 1 and Y is 2.可譯為“X為1，而Y為2?！保辉趇nclude, , and 的句型中，一般and后為最后一個詞，另外注意使用頓號；and連接兩個組合詞時，有時有些詞省略了，如clone and expression vectors，這里and后的組合詞一般為復(fù)數(shù)，如果譯為“克隆和表達載體”容易讓人誤解為一種載體，應(yīng)譯為“克隆載體和表達載體”。6. 較短的定語最后放在中心詞之前。7. 在A was (were) perpared by doing, doing , and doing的句型中，如果by doing, doing , and doing不是很長的話，最好先譯by。另外注意幾個doing是并列的。也可以譯為“通過如下方式制備A： doing , and doing： ”8. 注意and或or，它們連接的是并列的句子或并列的成份，連接的兩個成份的詞性應(yīng)是相同的。9. upon很多時候相當(dāng)于on。10. 注意插入語，插入語往往由兩個逗號分開，注意不要讓插入語影響句子分析，應(yīng)該將插入語兩邊的語法成分連起來看。11. 長句子注意斷句，中文的句子不要太長。12. 注意使用 “因為（由于）所以（因此）”、“雖然（盡管）但（但是）”、“如果那么（則）”等等，以使意思更加明確。13. 五、常見詞語翻譯1: parts by volume體積份2:
