10、資源是局域網(wǎng)的生命力。局域網(wǎng)絡(luò)具有距離短、延時(shí)少、相對(duì)成本低和傳輸速率高等優(yōu)點(diǎn)；它的低層協(xié)議較簡(jiǎn)單，控制選擇等問題大大簡(jiǎn)化，因而又具有組網(wǎng)簡(jiǎn)單、易于實(shí)現(xiàn)的特點(diǎn)。局域網(wǎng)的功能作用主要體現(xiàn)在以下四個(gè)方面。信息傳遞這是局域網(wǎng)絡(luò)最基本的功能之一，用來實(shí)現(xiàn)電腦與電腦之間傳遞各種信息，使分散在局域內(nèi)不同地點(diǎn)的電腦用戶可以進(jìn)行集中的控制管理。在校務(wù)部門建立網(wǎng)絡(luò)服務(wù)器，可以為整個(gè)局域網(wǎng)絡(luò)提供各類教學(xué)資源，并對(duì)這些資源進(jìn)行綜合管理。資源共享信息資源共享。通過接入ddn或isdn，很容易將局域網(wǎng)連接到internet，這樣，網(wǎng)絡(luò)內(nèi)的各電腦終端不但可以互通信息資源，而且可以享受網(wǎng)絡(luò)服務(wù)器上的相關(guān)數(shù)據(jù)及interne
