1、unit 7 memory一、教材分析本單元圍繞著“未知的世界”的話題來展開聽、說、讀、寫的訓練。教材一篇有關外星人的故事,鼓勵學生對未知的世界和科學要善于探索和學習。作為初二年級的學生,了解未來世界對于提高學生探索新知識有一定的幫助。語法方面介紹由because引導的原因狀語從句。并培養(yǎng)學生在完成一篇有關遇見鳥的世界的人們的故事并嘗試正確使用這個語態(tài)。二、教學對象分析1. 學生通過初一的學習,對工具書的使用有一定的了解,通過對百科全書的介紹和用法,提高學習的自學能力,有利于開展本單元的聽、說、讀、寫任務。2. 學生在平時的學習就已經(jīng)接觸過了由because引導的原因狀語從句的用法,本單元再通
2、過系統(tǒng)地復習,在學習方式上引導學生學習歸納總結。三、單元教學目標1.認知目標: 學習水平學習內(nèi)容學習水平的描述語音1learn about the loss of plosion.。2. 能流利地朗讀課文及與課文水平相當?shù)亩涛?,語音、語調、句子重音和停頓基本正確。詞匯1. 重點詞匯unknown, alien,astronaut, receive, fall, bush, quiet, danage, frightened, discover, terrible, fear, creature, feather, wonder, line, refuse, spread, mark, knif
3、e, explain, pleased短語:keep quiet, because of, in fear, landing site, as soon as possible, agree with, disagree with句型useful sentences:1.what happened to the light?2.tina wake up at midnight.3.i am sure something landed in the forest near the hills as i heard a loud noise last.4.they heard some voice

6、te an article about science fiction.2. 能筆頭回答課文內(nèi)容提出的問題。3. 能用本單元學習的重點詞匯、句型進行造句。2. 思想情感目標:1)通過談論“未知世界”的相關話題,提高學生探索新知的意識。2)結合課文的內(nèi)容,引導學生對未來世界和科學的設想,鼓勵學生拓展自己的視野,探索新知。3. 能力發(fā)展目標:1)能夠在聽、說、讀、寫等語言綜合實踐活動中運用本單元的重點詞匯、句型與語法。2)在學習中提高交流和傳遞信息的能力,在寫作中正確運用連詞使文章更連貫和流暢。3)通過指導學生在模擬交際中運用所學的知識,培養(yǎng)學生探究學習、合作學習、自主學習的能力。四、單元教學重點
7、1. 學生熟練掌握重點詞語,詞組及句型。2指導學生利用所學句型正確表達思想、進行交際活動。3指導學生歸納、總結原因狀語從句的用法,并在實踐運用中熟練運用。五、單元教學難點狀語從句的歸納整理及運用。六、教學策略 1. 引導學生積極主動的通過預習完成可以自己學會的部分,課堂學習完成學習的重難點,通過復習及歸納總結完善單元的學習。2. 在教學中以舊帶新,引導學生用正確的句子表達思想。 3. 適當補充與課文話題相關的內(nèi)容,拓展學生的閱讀視野。七、學習策略1初步接觸略讀(skimming)和找讀(scanning)這兩種閱讀策略。2學會在閱讀過程中通過上下文來猜測生詞含義的方法。3關注對話中特殊疑問句的
8、提問和相應的回答,以便準確記錄相關信息。八、媒體的選擇與設計1充分利用和發(fā)揮基本的教學媒體,如錄音機,教師的body language、板書的作用。2適時、合理地使用多媒體,增大課堂的容量,更好地輔助教學。九、各課時教學內(nèi)容安排建議課時教學內(nèi)容及課型教學目標及簡單教學環(huán)節(jié)設計第1課時reading a 新授課一、定位: input-based,訓練各種聽與說的語言微技能,并給予閱讀學習策略的指導,讀為主。二、教學目標:1. 通過多種形式的閱讀活動與任務,幫助學生理解課文。 2. 指導學生運用一定的閱讀理解學習策略,培養(yǎng)一些閱讀微技能,如:尋讀,找出關鍵信息等;掃讀,獲取文章大意;通過構詞法或上
9、下文猜測生詞大意;推斷等。三、教學重點:閱讀微技能的培養(yǎng),加強信息尋找能力。重點把握常用到的單詞和短語,并把它們運用到實際生活中。四、教學難點:原因狀語從句的用法。常用單詞和詞組。二、教學設計:step 1 warming up1. ask a few ss the questions about cartoons and comic strips.2:cartoon talklet the ss look at a cartoon picture on page 113 and say something about the pictures.step 2 leading in 1.get

21、e引導(1)because (因為)的用法:because通常表示直接的原因。because引導的從句表示直接而明確的原因和理由,表示按因果關系的推斷,語氣很強,用來回答why的問題, 一般位于主句之后。例:we couldn't go out because it was too cold. 因為天氣太冷,我們不能外出。.for(因為)的用法:for是并列連詞,引出的原因較間接,似乎是事后所想到的補充解釋的理由,只陳述一般推斷的理由,不一定表示產(chǎn)生結果的必然原因,主要放在兩個并列句之間。例:it must be morning for the birds are singing.一定
22、是清晨了,因為鳥兒在叫。注意:下列情況下只能使用because:在回答why的問句時;在用于強調句型時;被not所否定時。(2)as和since(因為)的用法:表示已經(jīng)知道的原因時用as或since,即某種原因在說話人看來已經(jīng)很明顯,或已為聽話人所熟悉。since要比as正式一些,它們通常被置于語句之前。seeing all of the children already seated, he said,“since everyone is here, lets start.”step 2: consolidation:get ss to finish exercise on page 104
23、.step 3 presentation of the different usage of because of and becausebecause與because of的用法比較從詞性上看because 是連詞,其后接句子;because of 是復合介詞,其后接名詞、代詞、動名詞、what 從句等。如:i didnt buy it because it was too expensive. 我沒有買是因為它太貴了。he is here because of you (that). 他為你(那事)而來這里。he lost his job because of his age. 由于年齡關
24、系他失去了工作。we said nothing about it, because of his wifes being there. 因為他妻子在那兒,我們對此只字未提。he knew she was crying because of what he had said. 他知道她哭是因為他說的話。注意:because of 之后可接 what 從句,但不能接 that 從句或沒有引導詞的句子。如:他因病未來。誤:he didnt come because of he was ill.誤:he didnt come because of that he was ill.正:he didnt
25、come because he was ill.正:he didnt come because of his illness.比較以下同義句:他離開了這家公司,是因為老板在會上講的話。正:he left the company because of what the boss said at the meeting.正:he left the company because of the thing that the boss said at the meeting.我不能因為有個家就停止斗爭。正:i cant stop fighting because i have a family.正:i
26、 cant stop fighting because of having a family.從用法上看because 所引導的從句除用作原因狀語外,還可用作表語。如:it is because he loves you. 那是因為他愛你。而復合介詞 because of 所引導的介詞短語通常用作狀語而不用作表語。如:他因雨缺席。誤:his absence was because of the rain.正:his absence was due to the rain.正:he was absent because of the rain.但是有時若主語是代詞(不是名詞),也可以用 beca
