the

masterplanning

brief

to

create

a

walkable

urban

environment,

will

be

an

enjoyable

and

attractiveplace

for

people

to

live,

work,

shop

and

relax.

The

goal

is

also

to

ensurethat

it

is

a

vibrant

and

economically

successful

retail,

F&B

and

leisuredevelopment.

The

challenges

of

the

brief

are

how

to

relate

theseobjectives

to

multiple

level

retail,

single

use

zoning

and

the

dynamicsof

the

‘Nine

Blocks’

pedestrian

challenge

create

a

successful

multi

level

retail

development

in

alocation

that

is

not

in

the

heart

of

an

existing

city

centre

and

is

notimmediately

adjacent

to

public

transportation

or

other

major

sources

ofpotential

development.此方案主要的目的是要創(chuàng)造出一個同時在在建筑美觀和景觀靚麗與經(jīng)濟(jì)上成功的商業(yè)開發(fā)項(xiàng)目。建筑設(shè)計概念是基于一個‘雙立面’的策略。沿街外立面有一個有節(jié)制的形式和材料表現(xiàn)手段,用一種特殊和強(qiáng)烈的表達(dá)方式,在首層和二層都有出入口,鼓勵行人的自由流動。在沿河的內(nèi)側(cè),建筑有一個更為豐富和充滿變化的體量,創(chuàng)造出一種靈動的場景來表達(dá)空間的特征和吸引力。

進(jìn)一步,沿街外立面遵從街道的直線,二沿河的外立面則相對照地遵從河流的曲線,形成一個露天劇場,歡迎和擁抱著河流展示著景觀的特色。

這一特色由多層的雕塑一樣的亭樓所裝扮的栩栩如生。在內(nèi)側(cè)的亭子之上向外眺望水岸的景色,通過商業(yè)街能欣賞到畫框里的美景。The

forms

complex

varied

massing

create

vibrant

ambience,

express

its

nature

an

attraction.

In

external

street

facades

follow

the

straight

lines

of

the

street

and

thewaterfront

planning

is

in

contrast

defined

by

a

curved

shape,

like

anamphitheatre,embracing

the

river

and

its

landscape

features.

This

isfurther

animated

by

multi-level

sculptural

pavilions

which

look

out

ontothe

waterfront

and

provide

framed

views

from

the

shopping
