,他同意去了。句子謂語動詞suggest后接賓語從句。請看更多例句:MayIsuggestawhitewinewiththisdish,Sir?Asolutionimmediatelysuggesteditselftome(=Iimmediatelythoughtofasolution).Isuggest(that)wegoouttoeat.Isuggestedgoinginmycar.Ithasbeensuggestedthatbrightchildrentaketheirexamsearly.Ithasbeensuggestedthatbrightchildrenshouldtaketheirexamsearly.Whowouldyousuggestforthejob?ShesuggestedParisasagoodplacefortheconference.Canyousuggestagooddictionary?Youcannot‘suggestsomebodysomething’.Canyousuggestmeagooddictionary?CanyousuggesthowImightcontacthim?Alltheevidencesuggests(that)hestolethemoney.Thesymptomssuggestaminorheartattack.Whatdotheseresultssuggesttoyou?Thestagelightingwasusedtosuggestabeachscene.Areyousuggesting(that)I’mlazy?I’mnotsuggesting(that)shewasresponsiblefortheaccident.Iwouldneversuggestsuchathing.Toourastonishment,therewasalightinoneofthecabins.令我們驚訝的是,其中一個船艙里亮著燈。Toourastonishment是介詞短語,作句子狀語。類似短語還有:toone’sdelight,toone’sdisappointment。Anditwasagunhehadinhishand.他手里拿的是槍。句子中套用了一個英語典型的強調(diào)句型itis/was…that/who…。要點提示:1)當原句敘述的是現(xiàn)在或者將來發(fā)生的事情用“Itis…that…”的句式;當原句敘述的是過去發(fā)生的事情則用“Itwas…that…”的句式。2)在這種強調(diào)句式中,一般用that引出句子的其他部分。如果被強調(diào)的部分是表示人的意義的名詞時,可以用who代替that引出句子的其他部分;如果被強調(diào)的部分是表示事物意義的名詞時,可以用which代替that引出句子的其他部分。但是,無論被強調(diào)的部分是表示地點、還是表示時間意義的名詞,都不可以用where或者when。例如:Itisthatmanwho(that)isteachingourEnglish.就是那個人教我們英語。Itwasmytelephonenumberwhich(that)MissWhitehappenedtoknow.懷特小姐碰巧知道的就是我的電話號碼。Itisinfrontofthereligiousleaderthatthebrideandgroomstandtogethertobemarried.新郎、新娘通常就是一起站在宗教頭領(lǐng)面前舉行結(jié)婚。3)如果被強調(diào)的部分是人稱代詞,應該用該人稱代詞的主格形式;在口語或非正式文體中也可以用其賓格形式。Itwasshe(her)whotoldthepolice.就是她報告警察的。Itwasyouwhoweweretalkingabout.我們剛剛談論的就是你。4)沒有強調(diào)句子謂語的強調(diào)句,但有其通常的強調(diào)手段:do/does/did+動詞原形。例如:Idobelievethatheisanhonestman.我的確相信他是老實人。Shedoeslikeliterature.她確實喜歡文學。Theydidgotoseeyouyesterday,butfailedtomeetyou.他們昨天的確去看過你,但沒見到你。5)What…is/was…“What…is/was…”是名詞從句結(jié)構(gòu),也是強調(diào)句的另一種構(gòu)成形式。它常用來強調(diào)主語、賓語。如果所敘述的是現(xiàn)在或者將來發(fā)生的事情用“Whatis…that…”的句式;如果所敘述的是過去發(fā)生的事情用“Whatwas…that…”的句式。例如:Whathewishesmostistobecomeapilot.(強調(diào)賓語)他最希望的是成為一名飛行員。WhatinterestedmemostinthatmoviewasthebeautifulsceneryofAlps.(強調(diào)主語)那部電影使我最感興趣的是阿爾卑斯山那美麗的風景。WhatIlikeisherspeakingmanner.(強調(diào)賓語)我喜歡的是她說話的風度。Whatencourageduswastheexamplehesetforus.(強調(diào)主語)給予我們鼓勵的是他為我們樹立的榜樣。4.Whenheheardthat,thefrightenedmanonthefloorstartedcrying.當聽見那時,地上那個嚇壞的人開始哭泣起來。Frightened是過去分詞作定語。過去分詞作定語與其修飾的詞是被動關(guān)系,相當于一個被動語態(tài)的定語從句。例如:Mostofthepeopleinvitedtothepartywerefamousscientists.MostoftheartistsinvitedtothepartywerefromSouthAfrica.典型例題:1)Thefirsttextbook___forteachingEnglishasaforeignlanguagecameoutinthe16thcentury.A.havewrittenB.tobewrittenC.beingwrittenD.written答案D.書與寫作是被動關(guān)系,應用過去分詞做定語表被動,相當于定語從句whichiswritten2)What’sthelanguage____inGermany?A.speakingB.spokenC.bespokenD.tospeak答案B.主語language與謂語動詞之間有被動的含義。spoken是動詞speak的過去分詞形式,在句中作定語,修飾主語language,spoken與language有被動關(guān)系。該句可以理解為:What'sthelanguage(whichis)spokeninGerman?5.Bythenwewerea
