beafraidof害怕……,后跟名詞、代詞或動(dòng)名詞,表示害怕會(huì)發(fā)生某事或某情況,相當(dāng)于bescaredof。I’mafraidofgoingoutatnight.我害怕晚上外出?!就卣埂?1)beafraidtodosth.表示“因害怕而不敢做某事”。Heisafraidtogooutaloneatnight.他不敢晚上一個(gè)人出去。(2)“I’mafraid+從句”表示“我恐怕……”,常用來表達(dá)不愿發(fā)生的事情。I’mafraidIcan’tgotherewithyou.我恐怕不能和你一起去那兒。2.Idon’tknowwhy,butIhavehadthisfearsinceIwasveryyoung.
