2.WasteSortingMostpeoplehaven'tformedthehabitandcommittedthemselvestowastesortingnowinChina.Theywouldthrowtheirdomesticgarbage—kitchenrefuseplasticspaperschinaandglassetc.—allintothesamepubliccontainerswithoutthinkingwhethertheyarerecyclableornot.Thisobviouslywillreducethevalueofstuffthatcanberecycledorreusedsuchasplasticsandpapers.Besidesthegrowingamountofgarbagemakesthebuildingofmorelandfillsnecessarywhichwillworsentheshortageofland.Worsestilldisposingoftherecyclablewastelikeplasticsbyburningwillgiveofftoxicsmokeandpollutetheair.Inthissensethrowingthetrashunsortedshouldnotbeadvocatednomatterfromtheperspectiveofeconomyorprotectingenvironment.Onthecontraryifwesortoutrecyclablewastebeforethrowingthemawaytheamountoftrashwillbereducedsharply.Accordinglythecostofrunninglandfillsandtreatingwastewillbebroughtdowngreatly.What'smoreimportantlesswastewillhavetobeburnedorburiedmeaningresourceswasteandpollutionwillbereduced.Thereforeeconomicallyandenvironmentallyitisofgreatsignificancetocallforwaste-sorting.WasteSortingMostpeoplehaven'tformedthehabitandcommittedthemselvestowastesortingnowinChina.Theywouldthrowtheirdomesticgarbage—kitchenrefuse,plastics,papers,chinaandglass,etc.—allintothesamepubliccontainers,withoutthinkingwhethertheyarerecyclableornot.This,obviously,willreducethevalueofstuffthatcanberecycledorreused,suchasplasticsandpapers.Besides,thegrowingamountofgarbagemakesthebuildingofmorelandfillsnecessary,whichwillworsentheshortageofland.Worsestill,disposingoftherecyclablewastelikeplasticsbyburningwillgiveofftoxicsmokeandpollutetheair.Inthissense,throwingthetrashunsortedshouldnotbeadvocated,nomatterfromtheperspectiveofeconomyorprotectingenvironment.Onthecontrary,ifwesortoutrecyclablewastebeforethrowingthemaway,theamountoftrashwillbereducedsharply.Accordingly,thecostofrunninglandfillsandtreatingwastewillbebroughtdowngreatly.What'smoreimportant,lesswastewillhavetobeburnedorburied,meaningresourceswasteandpollutionwillbereduced.Therefore,economicallyandenvironmentally,itisofgreatsignificancetocallforwaste-sorting.
3.FoodSafetyReportsoffoodpoisoningsortaintedfoodhavebeenfrequentinChina.Inlate2006illegalamountofchemicalswasdiscoveredinturbot.InMarch2007KFCwasaccusedofaddingoilfilteringpower.InSeptember2008afreshoutbreakofkidneydiseaseoccurredduetobabyformulacontaminatedbymelamineapoisonouschemical.Theseincidentshappenedsofrequentlymainlybecausethegovernmentfailedtoinspectefficiently.Therearearoundtennationalgovernmentdepartmentsandnumerousprovincialandlocalagenciesthatsharetheresponsibilitytoensurefoodsafetyandmonitorfoodproductionandsales.Howevertheirdutiesareoftenoverlappingandambiguouswhichmakesthemonitoringsystemunresponsive.Inmyopiniontoguaranteethefoodsafetythegovernmentshouldattachgreatimportancetofoodinspectionandimprovethesupervisionmechanism.Theyshouldcheckthefoodproductsinthemarketandimmediatelypullthosedisqualifiedproductsoffshelves.InthiswayChinesefoodwillbecomesaferandsafer.FoodSafetyReportsoffoodpoisoningsortaintedfoodhavebeenfrequentinChina.Inlate2006,illegalamountofchemicalswasdiscoveredinturbot.InMarch2007,KFCwasaccusedofaddingoilfilteringpower.InSeptember2008,afreshoutbreakofkidneydiseaseoccurred,duetobabyformulacontaminatedbymelamine,apoisonouschemical.Theseincidentshappenedsofrequentlymainlybecausethegovernmentfailedtoinspectefficiently.Therearearoundtennationalgovernmentdepartmentsandnumerousprovincialandlocalagenciesthatsharetheresponsibilitytoensurefoodsafetyandmonitorfoodproduction
