目的論視角下的外宣文本英譯策略研究的開題報(bào)告Title:AStudyonTranslationStrategiesofChineseForeignPublicityTextsfromthePerspectiveofFunctionalLinguisticsAbstract:Withtherapiddevelopmentofglobalization,thecommunicationbetweencountrieshasbecomecloser.Asanimportantmeansofcommunication,foreignpublicitytextsplayanincreasinglyimportantroleininternationalcommunication.Asaresult,thetranslationofChineseforeignpublicitytextsisbecomingmoreandmoreimportant.Basedonthefunctionallinguistictheory,thisstudyaimstoexaminethetranslationstrategiesofChineseforeignpublicitytextsfromtheperspectiveoffunctionalequivalenceandcommunicativepurpose.Theresearchwillbecarriedoutinthreestages.Firstly,acorpusofChineseforeignpublicitytextswillbecollected.Secondly,afunctionallinguisticanalysiswillbeconductedtoidentifythecommunicativepurposeandtranslationproblemsinthetexts.Finally,acasestudywillbeconductedtoexploretheeffectivenessofdifferenttranslationstrategiesfordifferentcommunicativepurposes.TheexpectedresultsofthestudywillcontributetothetranslationofChineseforeignpublicitytexts,especiallytheunderstandingoftheimportanceofcommunicativepurposeintranslation.Itwillalsoprovideatheoreticalbasisforthedevelopmentoftranslationteachingmaterialsandthetrainingoftranslationprofessionals.Keywords:foreignpublicitytexts,translationstrategies,functionalequivalence,communicativepurpose,functionallinguistics.Introduction:Withthetrendofglobalization,thestatusandimportanceofforeignpublicitytextsininternationalcommunicationhavebecomeincreasinglyimportant.Asanimportantmeansofinternationalcommunication,thetranslationofforeignpublicitytextshasbecomemoreandmoreimportant.ThetranslationofChineseforeignpublicitytextsisplayinganincreasinglyimportantroleinChina'sinternationalcommunication.InordertopromoteChineseculture,facilitateinternationalcommunication,andenhanceChina'ssoftpower,itisnecessarytostudyandmasterthetranslationstrategiesofChineseforeignpublicitytexts.Translationisnotjustalinguisticactivity,butasocialactivitythatinvolvesculture,ideology,andothersocialfactors.Basedonthefunctionallinguistictheory,thisstudyaimstoexaminethetranslationstrategiesofChineseforeignpublicitytextsfromtheperspectiveoffunctionalequivalenceandcommunicativepurpose.Thefunctionallinguistictheoryemphasizestheimportanceofcommunicativepurposeandcontextinlanguageuse.ThisstudywillanalyzethecommunicativepurposeandcontextofChineseforeignpublicitytexts,andexplorethemostappropriatetranslationstrategiesfordifferentcommunicativepurposes.ResearchQuestions:1.WhatarethecommunicativepurposesofChineseforeignpublicitytexts?2.WhatarethemajortranslationproblemsinChineseforeignpublicitytexts?3.WhatarethemosteffectivetranslationstrategiesfordifferentcommunicativepurposesofChineseforeignpublicitytexts?Methodology:Theresearchwillbecarriedoutinthreestages.Firstly,acorpusofChineseforeignpublicitytextswillbecollectedandanalyzed.ThecorpuswillincludedifferenttypesofChineseforeignpublicitytexts,suchasnewsreports,officialdocuments,andpromotionalmaterials.Secondly,afunctionallinguisticanalysiswillbeconductedtoidentifythecommunicativepurpose,context,andtranslationproblemsinthetexts.Thefunctionalequivalencetheorywillbeusedtoanalyzetheequivalencerelationshipbetweenthesourcetextandthetargettext.Finally,acasestudywillbeconductedtoexploretheeffectivenessofdifferenttranslationstrategiesfordifferentcommunicativepurposes.ThecasestudywillbeconductedthroughthetranslationofaselectedChineseforeignpublicitytext.Expectedresults:ThestudyisexpectedtocontributetothetranslationofChineseforeignpublicitytexts,especiallytheunderstandingoftheimportanceofcommunicativepurposeintranslation.Itwillprovideatheoreticalbasisforthedevelopmentoftranslationteachingmaterialsandthetrainingoftranslationprofessionals.ThestudymayalsoprovidesomeusefulsuggestionsfortheimprovementofChineseforeignpublicitytexts.Conclusion:ThisstudyaimstoexaminethetranslationstrategiesofChineseforeignpublicitytextsfromtheperspectiveoffunctionalequivalenceandcommunicativepurpose.Thefunctionallinguistictheorywillbeusedtoanalyzethecommunicativepurpose,context,andtranslationproblemsinChineseforeignpublicitytexts,andexplorethemostapprop
