capthatdetectselectricalactivitytorecordtheirbrainwaves.Thisshowedthatthewavepatternsduringtherapideye

movementphaseofsleep,whendreamsoccur,weremoresimilarbetweenthosewhohadheardthesameaudiobook

thanthosewhohadhearddifferentones,suggestingthatthelisteningexperienceshapedthebrainactivity.

Furtheranalysisofthepatternsrevealedthathigh-frequencybetawaves-between18and30hertz-weremost
