狀語從句

1.定義：在句中充當狀語成分的從句。

2.分類：初中階段主要學習了9大狀語從句，分別是時間狀語從句，地點狀語從句，原

因狀語從句，比較狀沿從句，方式狀語從句，條件狀語從句，讓步狀語從句，目的狀語

從句，結果狀語從句。

(1)時間狀語從句

時間狀語從句用來表示主句動作發(fā)生的時間,常用when,while,as,assoonas,before,

after;until,till,since等弓I導。

①When,while,as引導的時間狀語從句

連接詞意義特點

從句的謂語動詞既可以是持續(xù)性動詞，也

when當……時

可以是瞬息性動詞

從句的謂語動詞只可以是持續(xù)性動詞，常

while當.....時

表示主從句的動作同時發(fā)生

as當.....時，一邊.....一邊...強調主從句動作同時進行

Eg:Wewerehavingdinnerwhentherainstormcame.

DIcallyouwhenit'sarranged.

Whilethechildrenwereplayingwiththetoys,theirmotherwaswatchingTV.

Brucebecamehapoyashesawhisfriends.

②assoonas引導的時間狀語從句

assoonas意為“一……就……”，引導的時間狀語從句一般用現(xiàn)在時表示將來意義

Eg:I'llwritetoyouassoonasIarriveinFrance.

Assoonashesawus,herantoshakehandswithus.

③before引導的時間狀語從句

before意為“在......之前”，引導的時間狀語的動作發(fā)生在主句動作之后

Eg:BeforeIgotobed,Ialwaysbrushmyteeth.

Wewaitedalongtimebeforewegotontheplane.

④after引導的時間狀語從句

after意為“在……之后”，引導的時間狀語的動作發(fā)生在主句動作之前

Eg:Aftertherainstopped,wewentdownthemountain.

IfeltbetterafterItalkedwithmyparents.

⑤until,till引導的時間狀語從句

until和till意為“直到”，很多時候可以互換使用。用于肯定句時，主句謂語動詞

是持續(xù)性動詞；用于否定句時，主句謂語動詞用瞬息性動詞。需要注意的是until

可用于句首，till不用于句首。

Eg:Westayedatthehoteluntil/tillthestrongwinddieddown.

Ididn'tgotobeduntil/tillmysoncamebackhome.

Untilyoutoldme,Ididn'tknowanythingofthenews.

⑥since引導的時間狀語從句

since意為“自從……以來”，常與現(xiàn)在完成時連用。

Eg:Ithasbeentenyearssincewelastmeteachother.

Mygrandmahaslivedheresinceshewasalittlegirl.

⑵地點狀語從句

表示位置或方向的從句叫地點狀語從句，主要由where,wherever等引導，意為“在......

地方，在任何……地方”

Eg:Whereveryougo,Iwillbeherewaitingforyou.

Wherethereisawill,thereisaway.

⑶原因狀語從句

在句中作原因狀語的從句叫作原因狀語從句，常由because,since,as等引導

①because意為“因為”，引導原因狀語從句時，語氣最強，表示直接原因

Eg:Hegaveuphisjobbecausehecouldn'tstandhisboss.

②since引導原因狀語從句時意為“既然，由于"，語氣比because弱

Eg:Sinceeveryoneishere,let'sdiscussaboutourworkingplan.

③as引導原因狀語從句時意為“因為，既然，由于“，語氣不如because、as強

Eg:Asshewasshy,shehadfewfriends.

(4)比較狀語從句

在句中作比較狀語的句子叫作比較狀語從句。主要由as,than等引導。

Eg:HerforeignfriendspeaksChineseasfluentlyasshedoes.

Tomisnotso/asoutgoingasPeter(is).

Hecanearnmoremoneythanyoucan.

(5)方式狀語從句

描述主句中動作或狀態(tài)發(fā)生的方式或方法的從句叫作方式狀語從句，主要由as,asif,as

though引導。

①as引導方式狀語從句時，意為“按照、正如、像、如同”

Eg:YoumustdoasIrequire.

Everythinghappenedasthedetectiveexpected.

FrictionIsnotalwaysabadthingasyoumightthink.

Wateristofishasairistoman.

②asif,asthough引導的方式狀語從句時，意為“似乎，好像”，

>asif,asthough引導的方式狀語從句的謂語動詞常用虛擬語氣，表示所說的情況不

是現(xiàn)實。

Eg:Hespokeasifheweretheownerofthishouse.

>但是當說表示的情況是事實或者實現(xiàn)的可能性較大時，從句用陳述語氣

Eg:Theskyisdarkasifitzsgoingtorain.

(6)條件狀語從句

表示條件或前提的從句叫作條件狀語從句。主要由if,unless,as/solongas等引導。

①if引導條件狀語從句時，意為“如果”

Eg:Ifyougetuplate,youwillmissthetrain.

②unless引導條件狀語從句時，意為“除非.....否則......”

Eg:Unlessyouarefamousenough,youwon'treceiveaninvitation.

③as/solongas引導條件狀語從句時，意為“只要”

Eg:As/solongasyousticktoyourdream,you'llmakeItcometrueoneday.

(7)讓步狀語從句

表示主句中的某?動作或狀態(tài)與從句中的某?動作或狀態(tài)在意義上有部分矛盾。主要由

although,though,evenif/though,whatever,whichever,wheneverwherever,whoever等弓|導。

①although/though意為“盡管,雖然Q不與but連用

Eg:Although/thoughhetriedhisbest,hefailedintheend.

②evenif/though意為“即使，盡管”

Eg:Evenif/thoughIseeitwithmyeyes,Ican'tbelieveit.

③whatever,whichever,whenever,wherever,whoever弓|導讓步狀語從句時，相當于“no

matter+wh-M

Eg:Whateveryouwant,I'llgiveittoyou.

(=Nomatterwhatyouwant,111giveittoyou.)

Wherevermysistervisits,shewillsendmeapostcard.

(=Nomatterwheremysistervisits,shewillsendmeapostcard.)

Whicheveradviceyoutake,you'llbenefitfromit.

表示主句中的動作或狀態(tài)發(fā)生的目的或動機，引導目的狀語從句的連詞主要有sothat

(以便),inorderthat(為了)等。

Eg:Idecidetoworkhardersothat/inorderthatIcangetbettergrades.

Illplaythevideoagainsothat/inorderthatyoucannoticethedifference.

(9)結果狀語從句

結果狀語從句表示主句中某一動作或狀態(tài)所產生的結果，引導結果狀語從句的連接詞有

sothat,so...that,such...tha:等。

①s。that意為“因此，以致于“

Eg:Hewasoftenabsentsothathedidn'tpasstheexam.

②so...that...意為“如此......以致于"
