常指參加或出席正式的活動(dòng)或場(chǎng)合,如婚禮、會(huì)議等。join
多指參加某個(gè)組織、團(tuán)體,并成為其中的一員。joinin多指參加活動(dòng)、加入游戲等。takepartin指參加群眾性活動(dòng)、會(huì)議等,往往指參加者持有積極的態(tài)度,并起一定的作用。Doyouhaveanythingvaluableinyourschoolbag?(教材P58)valuableadj.貴重的;很有用的;寶貴的辨析:valuable與worthvaluable常指物質(zhì)、金錢方面,強(qiáng)調(diào)物品貴重、珍貴。worth既指物質(zhì)上的,也指精神上的,強(qiáng)調(diào)價(jià)值?!癰eworth+錢數(shù)”意為“值……錢”;beworthdoingsth.意為“值得做某事”。e.g.Thejobgavemealotofvaluableexperience.
