教 案 年級: 九 年 級 課題: Unit2 I used to be afraid of the dark(self check) 姓名: 張 英 單位: 周至縣、終南鎮(zhèn)西周中學(xué) Unit2 I used to be afraid of the dark self check一、 教案背景本節(jié)教學(xué)內(nèi)容為新目標(biāo)九年級英語Unit2 I used to be afraid of the dark( self check ) ,在對Unit2 Section A-Section B 教學(xué)的基礎(chǔ)上,要讓學(xué)生有效地使用本單元所學(xué)詞匯及語法結(jié)構(gòu)“Used to do-”句型突破令大部分學(xué)生倍感頭疼的寫作問題,提高學(xué)生的寫作能力。讓學(xué)生在變化中認(rèn)識自己,在生活中關(guān)注自己的成長。 二、 教材分析本節(jié)課教學(xué)內(nèi)容為新目標(biāo)九年級英語Unit2 I used to be afraid of the dark(self check)教學(xué)內(nèi)容為兩大板塊:詞匯部分和寫作部分。詞匯部分要求學(xué)生能熟練運用所學(xué)單詞造句并為第二部分的寫作打好基礎(chǔ)。知識點全面,結(jié)構(gòu)合理。三、教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備學(xué)生方面:課前一周讓學(xué)生收集小時后的照片,仔細(xì)觀察,試著用“used to do-”結(jié)構(gòu)描述小時與現(xiàn)在自身的變化,并預(yù)習(xí)本節(jié)教學(xué)內(nèi)容。教師方面:收集家人過去的照片,繪制彩色圖片,制作單詞卡片和多媒體教學(xué)課件。上述準(zhǔn)備工作都是為了激發(fā)學(xué)生寫作興趣,輕松提高英語寫作能力,順利完成教學(xué)目標(biāo)而精心設(shè)計。ITeaching Aims and Demands1. Knowledge Objects(1) Enable the students to Fill in blanks and make sentencesusing “miss, be afraid of, used to, have to, worry about.”(2) Enable the students to write an article using the target language“used to do-, now-”2. Ability Object(1) Enable the students to talk about the past experiences using the phrase “ used to ”(2) Train students writing skill.3. Moral Object Everyone surely changes. Enable students care for their own growth-II. Teaching Key Points(1).Fill in blanks and make sentences.(2)Write an article using the target language.III. Teaching Difficult pointWrite an article using the target language to describe peoples change.IV. Teaching proceduresStep I Revision and lead-in (show the first slide)Revise the target language used to. Show a yo yo to the class and tell something about herself with the phrase used to.Ask students to say something about themselves with the phrase used toLook at the screen and revise the target language used to (show the second slide)Step II Presentation1. Show the title of this lesson (Unit2 I used to be afraid of the dark self check) (show the third slide)2. Part1.This activity focuses on words and phrases practice in the unit.There are some flashcards in teachers hands. Ask students to tell the meanings of these words or phrases and make some sentences with them. The words are : miss, be afraid of, used to, have to, worry about.Ask some students to fill in the blanks with these words (Show the fourth slide)Check the answers.Answers(1) am afraid of (2) worry about(3) have to(4) miss(5) used to3. Do some writing practice .Tell students that people often use used to.now.todescribe peoples change.Ask students to look at the screen and say something about these pictures with “used to-now/but now-” (show the fifth slide and the sixth slide )Sample answers(1). The cat used to like running, now/but now it likes eating.(2). He used to like playing basketball, now/but now he likes playing baseball.(3). He used to be fat and short, now/ but now he is tall and thin.(4). He used to have short hair, now/ but now he has long hair.Play a game to describe students change.Take out four photos of the class and ask four students to find out the owners with the sentence Did you use to.?. the first one who will find out the owner of the photo is the winner.Praise the winnerAsk students to describe the four students change using “used to do-, now/but now-” 4. PairworkDivide students into six groups . Then give each group two photos of a same person. Ask them to discuss and write some sentences about the persons change.Ask students to show their results. (one student will represent their groug to give the result).Praise the owner5. Part2 This activity focuses on writing practice.Stick four pictures of Yu Mei onto the blackboard .Then ask students to write some sentences with “used to-now/ but now-”under each picture.Check the answers.Ask students to write a complete passage about Yu Mei s change using these sentences that were written by them.Check the answers.Give a sample one. ( show the seventh slide)It seems that Yu Mei has changed a lot. She used to be short when she was younger, but now she is tall. She used to have long hair, but now she has short hair. She used to be quiet, but now she is outgoing. Yu Mei used to like playing soccer, but now she likes playing tennis.Step III SummaryThis lesson, we have done much writing practice using the key vocabulary words and the target language presented in this unit. Everyone surely changes. You should care for your own growth.Step I V HomeworkUse the languages in the unit to write about how your life has changed since primary school. ( show the eighth slide)Step V Blackboard Unit2 I used to be afraid of the darkSelf check The sample article:六、教學(xué)反思 本節(jié)課的教學(xué)我認(rèn)為效果比較明顯,很輕松的突破了寫作難關(guān),使學(xué)生都能夠不同程度的敘述出事物的變化,達(dá)到了預(yù)期的教學(xué)目的。 寫作訓(xùn)練是大部分學(xué)生比較頭疼的問題,許多學(xué)生往往會陷入無話可寫的困境,這同時也是我們英語教師感到比較棘手的教學(xué)難題。為了有效地提高寫作能力,我在這節(jié)課中創(chuàng)設(shè)了許多語言氛圍,如使用溜溜球這一學(xué)生熟悉并喜愛的實物展開話題進(jìn)行導(dǎo)課,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生描述自己的愛好,以及后面的找照片游戲,小組競賽等活動的開展,不但活躍了課堂氣氛,避免了寫作課堂枯燥乏味,無話可說的尷尬局面,而且也為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)了展示自己的平臺。這正符合了英語新課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中所提出的:努力為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)寬松、和諧的教學(xué)氛圍;為學(xué)生提供自主學(xué)習(xí)和相互交流的機(jī)會以及充分表現(xiàn)自我發(fā)展的空間。讓學(xué)生成為課堂的主人,讓他們在參與中模仿,在參與中學(xué)習(xí),在參與中探索,進(jìn)而掌握寫作技巧,圓滿地完成寫作任務(wù);同時在教學(xué)中,我使用了多媒體,實物展臺、單詞卡片,教學(xué)圖片以及學(xué)生
