What for? I want to并熟練運(yùn)用進(jìn)行日常交際,在真實的語言環(huán)境中,激發(fā)學(xué)生語言學(xué)習(xí)的興趣和敏感性,拓展學(xué)生的語言交際面,并提高學(xué)生的口語水平。 教學(xué)目標(biāo): 1、能聽說讀寫單詞和詞組penfriend, glue, write a letter 2、能聽懂、會說和會讀單詞和詞組:a postcard, writing paper, an envolope, an e-mail, a fax machine, a telephone number 3、能聽懂、會說、會讀、會寫句型Can I have?What for? I want to 4、能誦讀歌謠 I want to write a letter 教學(xué)準(zhǔn)備: 教具準(zhǔn)備:多媒體課件、教師和學(xué)生圖片 學(xué)生準(zhǔn)備:事先布置學(xué)生預(yù)習(xí)本單元的單詞 教學(xué)過程: Step1. Warming up 1. Free talk Hello!/ Day/ Date/ Weather 2. Say a rhyme: I want to write a letter T: This is a rhyme about letters. Can you write an English letter? Ss: Yes./No. T: If you cant write an English letter. It doesnt matter. Today I will tell you how to write a letter and what do we need for a letter? So lets go to Unit7 A letter to a penfriend. (通過和學(xué)生們分享一首小詩,可以將學(xué)生的注意力放在“l(fā)etter”上面,自然引出本課的課題。) Step2. Presentation 1. Teach the sentence patterns: Can I have a/an/some ? What for? I want to Sure. Here you are. (1) Game: Where is the rubber? T: Now I want to play a guessing game. Excuse me, do you have a rubber? S1: Yes, I do. T: Can I have a rubber? S1: Sure. Here you are. (2) T: Just now, I needed a rubber. So I asked Can I have a rubber? If you need something, you can ask like this: Can I have a/an/some? Look at these things(CAI), what do you need? You can ask me. S2: Can I have a? T: Sure. Here you are. (3) S3: Can I have a? T: What for? (Why?) S3: I want to T: Sure. Here you are. (4) Practice: Work in pairs and act it out (由一個小游戲“猜猜橡皮在老師那只手中,引出新授句型。既可以活躍課堂氣氛,有自然地將新知呈現(xiàn)。 2. Teach the new word: an e-mail, a fax machine, telephone number, an envelope, a postcard, writing paper, glue (1) T: Children, we know each other for a long time. I want to know more about you. Ill ask you some questions. Ss: OK. T: Do you have any hobbies? S: Yes, I do. I like T: Whats my hobby? Do you know? S: (Guess.) T: I like surfing the Internet. So I have a nice computer in my study. Do you want to visit my study? Ss: Yes. T: (CAI)Look! There are many things in it. What can you see in my study? S: I can see a computer/a fax machine/ a desk in your study. a computer: We can use a computer to do many things. We can surf the Internet. We can write an e-mail. We can learn a lot from Internet. a fax machine: Its a special telephone. Its telephone number is the fax number. It can send a picture or a letter. a desk( Look at my desk, therere many things) an envelope: A cover for your letter. Theres a stamp on it. a postcard: Its a card. Theres a picture on one side. You can send by post. writing paper: You can write letters on it. glue: It looks like water and it can stick things together. (通過學(xué)生課前預(yù)習(xí)和直觀的圖片展示,學(xué)生已了解其中文意思,教單詞時,利用一些已學(xué)單詞來幫助學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)和記憶新單詞,易于學(xué)生理解和接受。用簡單的英語、身體語言或借助其它教具來解釋新單詞,易于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生英語思維的方式。 (2) Listen and guess. (教師用簡單的英語解釋新授單詞讓學(xué)生猜一猜,既鍛煉了學(xué)生的聽力能力,又使枯燥的單詞教學(xué)充滿樂趣,充分調(diào)動了學(xué)生的積極性。 同時,將與單詞相對應(yīng)的小圖片獎勵給猜對同時發(fā)音較好的學(xué)生。在猜詞游戲結(jié)束后,可讓學(xué)生當(dāng)一回小老師,領(lǐng)大家讀單詞,這讓學(xué)得高的同學(xué)有一次表現(xiàn)的機(jī)會,也讓學(xué)有困難的學(xué)生又有一次跟讀練習(xí)的機(jī)會。) (3) T: This is my study. Its not big, but I like to stay here. Do you like it? Why? S: I like it. Because its clean and bright. There is a computer. And I can surf the Internet. Then I can know a lot from it. (簡單總結(jié)并進(jìn)行引導(dǎo),讓學(xué)生試著多用英語表達(dá)思想。) (4) T: we have many ways to communicate with other people. What can we do? S4: We can write an e-mail. T: What do we need for an e-mail. S4: We need a computer. T/S4: We can write an e-mail with a computer. T: What else? S5: We can write a letter with some writing paper, stamps and some glue. S6: We can send a fax with a fax machine. S7: We can call with a telephone. S8: We can send a postcard by post. (創(chuàng)設(shè)情境,讓學(xué)生總結(jié)與人交流的各種形式,給學(xué)生實踐語言提供機(jī)會。) Step3. Ask and answer Work in groups in four and act it out (本環(huán)節(jié)是進(jìn)行四人小組操練和對話,借助生動直觀的圖片教具,將本課 的單詞和句型結(jié)合起來,進(jìn)一步鞏固和熟練運(yùn)用。) Step4. Cosolidation (1)Exercise Listen and answer Questions: What does Liu Tao need? What does Liu Tao want to do? Where does Peter live? Does Peter have any brothers or sisters? What are Peters hobbies? T: Liu Tao and Mum are at home today. Listen, what are they talking about? S: (Answer the questions.) Listen and complete Read together T: In this dialogue, we know that Liu Tao would like to be Peters penfriend. He wants to write a letter. If you are Liu Tao, what are you going to talk about in the letter? S: Im going to talk about my family/hobbies/school (進(jìn)一步鞏固新知,并鍛煉學(xué)生聽說讀寫的能力。) (2) Introduce how to write an English letter (介紹英文信的格式,了解中西文化的差異。) Step5. Summary Today we know some ways to communicate with other people. And what do we need for a letter? If you need something, you can ask: Can I have? Step6. Homework 1. Copy the new phrases 2 times 2. Finish Part C 3. Try to write a letter to your friend or your penfriend 教學(xué)反思: 本課的教學(xué)內(nèi)容不難,為了豐富英語課堂,我努力挖掘教材,為學(xué)生創(chuàng)設(shè)語言學(xué)習(xí)情境。整個教學(xué)過程以舊帶新,層次清楚,過度比較自然。設(shè)計這節(jié)課,我是從以下幾個方面考慮的: 1、維持學(xué)習(xí)興趣 隨著年級升高,教材難度加大,學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)興趣有所減弱。但在英語課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)中“激發(fā)和培養(yǎng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)英語的興趣”是基礎(chǔ)教育階段英語課程任務(wù)的首要要求,這足見“興趣”是學(xué)習(xí)的關(guān)鍵所在。因此,在高年級英語教學(xué)中,我們?nèi)孕枰粩嗟丶ぐl(fā)和培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的興趣。在新授導(dǎo)入時,我設(shè)計了一個Where is the rubber?的小游戲,一下子就可以抓住學(xué)生的眼球,他們的注意里很快地就集中到英語課堂上。 2、優(yōu)化單詞教學(xué) 在高年級英語學(xué)習(xí)中,對單詞學(xué)習(xí)的要求應(yīng)不僅僅是停留在會聽會讀會說會寫上,更重要的是要教給學(xué)生學(xué)單詞的方法以及用英語思維的方式。教新單詞時,可以給學(xué)生提供幾個已學(xué)單詞,根據(jù)發(fā)音的規(guī)律來學(xué)習(xí)新的單詞,久而久之,學(xué)生對新單詞的讀音、拼寫記憶會很快。如本課中,envelope這個單詞較長,發(fā)音稍有點難度,我給出(spend, weekend)(camera, cinema)(hope)三組單詞幫助學(xué)生發(fā)音和記憶單詞,效果還不錯。在進(jìn)行用英語交流的時候,學(xué)生經(jīng)常會碰到某些單詞不會說而停下來。因此
