牛津高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)單元:Unit 3 The meaning of colour板塊:Word power Thoughts on the design:本課件是以聽、說、讀為主的詞匯教學(xué)課。按照學(xué)生的認(rèn)知規(guī)律,從溫故知新探索新知識(shí)使用新知識(shí)鞏固新知識(shí)進(jìn)行教學(xué);針對(duì)詞匯教學(xué)的特點(diǎn),設(shè)計(jì)竟猜等一系列的課堂活動(dòng),鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生參與,形成師生互動(dòng),以便更好地掌握本節(jié)課與國(guó)花有關(guān)聯(lián)的單詞和與顏色有關(guān)聯(lián)的短語(yǔ)。Teaching aims: After learning the word power, Ss will be able to know some words related to national flowers and some expressions related to colour idioms.Teaching procedures:Step 1 Revision1. Competition. Guess different names of the countries according to the national flags given. (PPT 5-6)2. Ask Ss to discuss the question: What kind of things can represent a country? (PPT 7-10)National flags, national flowers, national emblem, national anthem Explanation本課的教學(xué)從復(fù)習(xí)入手,讓學(xué)生了解一些國(guó)家的國(guó)旗。通過看國(guó)旗猜國(guó)家名稱的競(jìng)賽活動(dòng),充分調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)熱情和興趣,寓教于樂。然后通過回答問題What kind of things can represent a country? 導(dǎo)入到 National flowers。 Step 2 Read and understandAsk Ss to read the article about national flowers for different countries in Part A.1. Ask Ss to find out which flowers are mentioned in the article as national symbols for different countries and give a brief description of each. ( PPT 11-12)2. Encourage Ss to fill in the table. (PPT13-15)Explanation通過閱讀第38頁(yè)的文本, 讓學(xué)生找出文中所介紹的幾種國(guó)花,并對(duì)它們進(jìn)行描述。這樣,不僅提高了學(xué)生的閱讀理解能力,而且鍛煉了學(xué)生的口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力。最后讓學(xué)生完成表格,進(jìn)一步鞏固對(duì)文章的理解,為提高學(xué)生的綜合運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力鋪設(shè)了很好的平臺(tái)。 Step 3 Match each country with its national flower (PPT 16)通過看圖, 把每個(gè)國(guó)家和它的國(guó)花配對(duì), 在學(xué)生的腦海里留下很清晰的印象。 Step 4 Read and understand1. Ask Ss to read the sentences in Part A of Colour Idioms. Make sure that they understand each colour idiom in each sentence. Explain when necessary.
