Providing lodging, socialactivities, shopping and attractions it is proposed as thefeatureareafortherst phase of the development within the site.城心將作為旅游開發(fā)的心臟和焦點區(qū)域,被列入首期開
3、發(fā)階段。它將提供食宿、社交、購物、特色旅游等服務(wù)。城心瀕臨沙美內(nèi)海,背靠龍?zhí)稁X東南腳,總面積160公頃。城心的選址使未來的居Covering an area of 160 hectares, the town centre has been positioned on the shores of Shamei Lake and nestled into the southeastern edge of Longtan Ridge. The location of the town centre has been chosen to allow town dwellers to connect
4、to the landscape in which they inhabit, including the agricultural landscapes to the west, the ridges to the north and south and the lake and coastal environment to the east. The location along Shamei Lake and its connection to the islands throughout the Boao site and the coast also provides op- por

12、ge of activities including retail, entertainment and night life whichis currently lacking at Boao.博鰲需要增加旅游基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施和項目,以延長游客逗留時間,并且提供包括零售、娛樂和夜間活動在內(nèi)的一系列豐富多彩的活動,而這恰恰是博鰲目前所缺乏的。一項重要措施是建立有吸引力、符合基地總體發(fā)展規(guī)劃愿景的項目和主題公園。水族館、One of the key elements is the creation of major attractions and theme parks that are ap- pro
13、priate to the overall vision for the site. Attractions based on the natural environment, including an Aquarium, Sea World, Family Water Park, Aviary and Buttery Park are just a few of the attractions which would be appropriate for the site. These theme park attractions would be accessible in walking
14、 distance from the town centre and all be centered around a main walking street providing a unique tourism experience and recreational opportunities for Boao. While the focus of these theme parks would be on international wildlife species, local Hainan species would also be displayed and featured as

18、nd Research大學(xué)和研究機構(gòu)The development of knowledge, conferencing and information technology at Boao and Boao Forum also further provides opportunity for the development of a university and re- search centre. Building upon the natural setting of the site research centres for the natural sciences includin
19、g; environmental studies, aqua culture, agriculture and marine biology would ideally be set up at Boao particularly given the close proximity of Boao to these environments. Inaddition, training schools forhotel and hospitality services could also beestablished to support the growth of tourism in the

A s
22、ingle road provides access to both the Boao town centre to the west and the Marine Village to the south. Water taxi linkages also allow for a quickconnection to all major tourist destinations.The location of Jade Belt Beach with the sea coast along the eastern edge and Shamei Lake along the western
23、edge creates a truly inspiring location for resort, hotel and exclu- sive second home locations. However, the physical setting of the site causes the site to beextremely sensitive to environmental degradation and natural forces.Given the environmental context of the stie, development along Jade Belt
24、 Beach has been limited mainly to the Shamei Lake edge side and central area of the peninsula. The purpose isto protectthe sensitive dune environmentand aestheticquality of the easterncoastal edge.Vegetation along Jade Belt Beach has also been retained as much as possible in order tobalance this sen
25、sitive ecosystem.Three large 5 star resort hotels have been located along the edge of the upper ridgeline of the Jade Belt Beach dune providing expansive views both east and west and ensuringready access to both the sea and lake.Exclusive residential villas have also been dotted along Jade Belt Beac
26、h, positioned tomaximize solar gain, water access and to provide privacy in this unique coastal seting.A number of Balinese-style oating resorts and hotels have also been positioned along the edge of Shamei Lake providing an additional variety of accommodation and lodging stylesto the current mix.玉帶

The opening up of this channel could allow for sailing and recreational boating linkages to the Marine Village site and alsoallow watertaxi connections to the Marine Village by waterto the Boao village site to the north.The Marine Village would create a resort opportunity specically f
34、ocused on water sports and pleasure boating set within a protected harbour and providing a full array of marine ser- vices (vital for attracting a pleasure boating market). The village would provide the facilitiesrequired to become a true destination port for all sizes of seagoing pleasure craft.Sim
