1、Comfort Zone By Lily Liu What is Comfort Zone A comfort zone is a type of mental conditioning that causes a person to create and operate mental boundaries. Such boundaries create an unfounded sense of security. There is no room for adventure and excitement in your comfort zone; Living in ones comfor

2、t zone a place where all feels safe and right with the world. But contentment comes at a cost comfort zones sometimes evolve into boring, same-old traps where nothing changes, including you. Create art, even though youre not an artist. Argue with people. Fall down. Get up. Read books, all sorts of b

3、ooks. They do not wish to effect changes in their life or career especially when their situation stays the same for longer period. Such individual likes to feel secured in the prefixed routine life. Thus the individual begins living within the four -walls of his comfort zone. Successes gotten in pas

4、t also induce the mentality of living within the comfort zone. Only the people breaking their comfort zone succeed Reasons of sticking glued to the comfort zone Every individual is well acquainted with his shortcomings. They know which field they can perform well in as well as in which field not. Th

5、ey dont want to explore their luck by chartering their courses into the newer, unknown waters. Kick off your comfort zone Accepting every newer challenge is the mark of a comfort zone quitter. Open yourself to ideas, events, relationships that make you uncomfortable. Travel places where you know no

6、one. Learn another language. Step out of your comfort zone 1) Acknowledge Your Fears At the root of all hesitation to change, fear. Fears of adventure, failure, shame, risk, uncertainties, etc. How to Step Out of Your Comfort Zone Step 1: Make a fool of yourself. Our fear of what people think. Do so

7、mething you normally wouldnt do for fear of looking like an idiot. Be that idiot. Step2: Face your fears. the big fears, such as heights, spiders, tight spaces, and germs, every day fears such as breaking a bone, or falling down, or getting caught in the rain. Step3: Become comfortable with taking r

8、isks. Your comfort zone is comfortable because its where you know what to expect. You might lose or gain something. Non-attachment.( Mind the process rather than the result.) Let go of your attachment to a certain outcome. Live in the moment. Acceptance. When things dont go your way, and they wont,

9、shrug it off. Open your eyes. The world is a dynamic place where things go right and wrong. Youre setting yourself up for frustration and disappointment. Step4: Enjoy the unknown. Whens the last time you felt excited about not knowing what was going to happen next? Dont you miss the mixture of antic

10、ipation and anxiety that makes your heart flutter and stomach turn at the same time? Tips: Find or date someone crazy. You should know the risks, and decide to go through with the decision anyway, ready and willing to accept th
