1、讀后續(xù)寫微技能（11）外貌性格描寫 -2- 讀后續(xù)寫微技能（11）外貌性格描寫 一、外貌性格描寫 1.外貌描寫重點(diǎn)在于五官與體型描寫 在描寫人物外貌時(shí),要注意學(xué)會用不同的表達(dá),對人物進(jìn)行“從上 到下”的細(xì)致刻畫,包括臉部表情,發(fā)型裝扮,身體狀況,手腳情況,年 齡狀態(tài)等等,例如: Looking at his weather-worn face, I was surprised. She is of medium height, very slim, but her face is as white as snow. 分析:句中的weather-worn face表示“飽經(jīng)風(fēng)霜的臉”;句中 me

2、dium height說明“中等身高”,as white as snow來說明“臉色慘白”。 這兩句中,通過擴(kuò)展對具體人物外貌的修飾,達(dá)到了增加描寫的作 用。 -3- 2.性格描寫要細(xì)致突出人物的情緒 對于人物的性格描寫,一定要突出人物的個(gè)性,盡量避免用過于 籠統(tǒng)的詞,而應(yīng)該采用相對比較細(xì)致入微的詞匯或句式,來對人物 進(jìn)行“個(gè)性化”描寫,例如: He is good-time Charlie, feeling no worries and anxieties.他是樂 天派,從不擔(dān)憂。 Jerry is a self-possessed man, whose face never betrays

3、 his emotions.Jerry處事冷靜,從不喜形于色。 分析:句中,用good-time Charlie來描述他的樂觀,用詞要比 optimistic更加形象;而句中,用self-possessed和never betrays his emotions來細(xì)致描述Jerry的個(gè)性,體現(xiàn)細(xì)節(jié)描寫對人物個(gè)性的刻畫。 -4- 3.外貌性格描寫時(shí),可以多采用并列式表達(dá) 在進(jìn)行人物外貌描寫時(shí),不一定是單一性的描寫,而更多的可以 采用并列式或遞進(jìn)式的表達(dá)方式。如: The light showed a pale, square-jawed face with keen eyes, and a lit

19、五環(huán)境細(xì)節(jié)描寫 一、環(huán)境描寫的角度 環(huán)境描寫分為客觀和主觀兩種角度:客觀描寫從環(huán)境事物本身入 手,主觀描寫則從觀察者角度描寫。通常在描寫時(shí)主客觀交替進(jìn)行, 原則上,主觀描寫比重可以稍大一點(diǎn)。 1.客觀環(huán)境描寫 客觀環(huán)境的描寫,常從環(huán)境本身入手,盡量突出“感官體驗(yàn)”,如強(qiáng) 調(diào)“風(fēng)雨雷電”或“花鳥蟲魚”等自然界所存在的事物本身,以及它們 給人們帶來的感受,如聲音、氣味、顏色、感覺、味道等等。例如: A cold breeze blew through my hair. The water was deep blue and sunlight glittered on its looking gla

20、ss-clear surface. -14- 分析:句中的“冷風(fēng)吹拂過我的頭發(fā)”,描述的是風(fēng)給我?guī)淼母?覺;句中“水是深藍(lán)色的,陽光在仿若透明的玻璃表面閃閃發(fā)光”則 是視覺上的感受。 -15- 2.主觀環(huán)境描寫 主觀環(huán)境描寫則從觀察者角度入手,表達(dá)“景物給人帶來何種感 受”,所以在表達(dá)上常是“我覺得”;“我看到”,例如: The beautiful scenery in the countryside kept me spellbound. Then I glanced up and saw a pair of kites, red with long blue tails, soaring

21、 in the sky. 分析:句中的“景物使我如此陶醉”,描述的是美景給我的感 受;句中“我抬起頭,望見兩只紅色的風(fēng)箏,帶著長長的藍(lán)色尾巴, 在天空中冉冉升起”也是從觀察者的角度來寫環(huán)境。 -16- 二、環(huán)境描寫的素材 the blue sky藍(lán)天,the songs of birds鳥鳴,the thundering clouds電閃 雷鳴,the fragile flowers嬌嫩的花,the dark, raining evening 雨夜,the green grass青草,the fragrant roses芬芳的玫瑰,the setting/rising sun落 日/冉冉升起的
