1、 unit5 why do you like pandas?一、教學目標1、知識目標:學習本單元的詞匯和句型結構1) 詞匯:zoo, animal, tiger, elephant, koala bear, dolphin, panda, lion, penguin, giraffe, smart, cute, fun, ugly, intelligent, friendly, shy, kind of, africa2) 句型結構:why, what, where 引導的特殊疑問句;用because表示原因;表示性質、品質的形容詞的使用及程度的表達。why do you want to se

2、e the lions? / why do you like lions?/because theyre cute/interestingwhat animals do you like?/where are lions from? / where do lions come from?they are very dangerous. they are kind of intelligent. 2、能力目標:描述動物,并能表達對某種動物的好惡。二、教學重、難點1、重點:學習本單元的詞匯,用what、why、where引導的特殊疑問句,用because表示原因以及形容詞的使用。2、難點:準確使用

3、形容詞對自己感興趣的事物進行描述。三、課前準備教師:錄音機,圖片,物品實物. 學生:實物(學習用品).四、教學建議:課時及內容:本單元建議用5個課時完成第一課時完成section a 1a-1c 第二課時完成section a 2a-2c(grammar focus)第三課時完成section a 3a-4 第四課時完成section b 1-3第五課時完成section b 3a-4period 1(section a 1a-1c)step 1 warming-up and revision1.greetings. 2.revise the new words and expressions

4、.3.revise the conversations they learned the last day.4.some ss report their collection in the homework.step 2 presentation1、請同學用英語說出自己知道的動物名稱并板書。出示課前準備好的各種動物圖片,向學生展示各種動物的英語表達方法。(tiger, elephant, koala bear, dolphin, panda, lion, penguin, giraffe, etc.)2、發(fā)音練習, 注意元音字母及組合的發(fā)音規(guī)則。3、 將圖片按1a中的樣子貼在黑板上,仿照動物園

5、的導游圖布置,要求學生將單詞卡貼在相應的動物圖片下。教材中對應配對練習(1a)。(答案: b, h, d, a, e, f, g, c)step3活動:(1)用黑板上所貼的圖片學習對某種動物的喜愛及原因(2)完成任務需要的詞匯及句型結構: 詞匯:cute, interesting, fun, smart, beautiful等形容詞, 句型結構:i like lions. lets see the lions first. why?(why is that?) because they are cute.step 4 聽力訓練: 聽錄音(1b)。在1a中勾出所聽到的 動物。(panda, gi

6、raffe, penguin)step 5小組活動:討論在動物園中最先參觀的動物,并給出理由。step 6 對話表演 (1)讓小學生進行表演1c部分的知識點,進行對話訓練。 (2)讓幾組學生在班上進行對話練習。step 7 pair work ask the students to read the conversation in 3b first. and then ask them to make conversations. now practice asking and answering questions about what the people in the pictures

9、f)講解very, kind of的用法,可將section b第一部分中的ugly, scary等詞提前教學。2、學生練習對所看到的動物的喜好(程度)及原因,并表演對話。step 3 聽力訓練:(1) 聽錄音,完成練習(2a)。(2)步驟4 聽錄音,完成練習(2b)。step 4小組活動:為自己的同學選擇生日禮物。調查同伴最喜愛和不喜愛的小動物及原因,然后為他/她準備一份動物玩具作為生日禮物。使用下列表格: namesanimals he/she likesreasonsanimals he/she dislikesreasonsstep 5 互組活動:(讓學生在對話的語境中練習自己的交際能

13、? pandas come from china.)可以對這些動物的習性等做簡單介紹,將section b中的部分詞匯和表達在此處介紹,如:eat grass, sleep during the day, at night, eat leaves,lazy, meat等。(3a)step 2 :學生練習談論對上述三種動物的喜好,產(chǎn)地及簡單習性。(3b)what animals do you like? i like pandas.where are pandas from? they are from china. they are lazy. they like eating bamboos

14、. step3: 出示另外幾種動物,如:an elephant, a giraffe, a kangaroo等,要求學生對這幾種動物開展談論,包括喜好、產(chǎn)地、習性等信息。step 4 對話表演:(讓學生與自己的伙伴交流,鍛煉他們的口頭表達能力)step5 bingo。要求學生從所給的詞語中隨機選擇九個填入旁邊的格子中。放錄音,讓學生聽到自己所選的詞時,在該詞上劃叉,最先連成三個一排者為勝者。(part4)step 6 writinglook back at the ad in 3a.now please write your own ad. you can use some of the se
