4、guage point 1The two best friends stopped talking to each other. 這兩個(gè)最好的朋友停止了互相說(shuō)話。(1)stop doing sth.意為“停止做某事”,表示停止手頭上正在從事的事情,即不做某事。stop to do sth.意為“停下來(lái)去做某事”,即去做另一件事。e.g. They stopped to make a cake after watching TV. 看完電視之后他們停下來(lái)去做蛋糕。(2)each other 意為“互相;彼此”。e.g. They support each other in their work.
