2、ial “Bill Gates” is the first period of unit 9. Its a reading comprehension text. It plays a very important part in the English teaching of this unit. By studying this unit, Ss can improve their reading ability and learn about some famous figures. At the same time, we should encourage the students t

3、o understand some difficult sentences to comprehend the passage better. The Ss should do some listening, speaking and writing, too. Let the Ss learn about Bill Gates and learn something from him. 2. Analysis of the students: Interest is the best teacher. But most of the vocational school students ar

4、e not interested in English. So how to motivate them, and arouse their interest and build up their self-confidence of learning English are the first things I am considering about. Though they are interested in computer and surfing the Internet , they may not be familiar with Bill Gates. So Ill start

5、 this lesson from the topic which they are interested in and use their curiosity about how Bill Gates can be a very successful person at last from a dropout to arouse their passion of leaning English.3.
