7、aration for Living in OECIS(1) 家長能做什么,做到何種程度:What can parents do?1.入學前訓練孩子穿衣、上廁所的熟練程度和速度,能利落的刷牙、洗臉、洗澡、洗頭及簡單的物品整理。女生會簡單梳理頭發(fā)。Before the child coming to school, please train kids to put on appropriate clothes. Proficiently and quickly make use in the washroom: brushing teeth, washing face, taking bath,
8、 washing hair and simple objects sorting.2.讓孩子學會認識自己的物品,凡是帶到學校的物品衣服都需要做好標記或?qū)懞妹?。Let the children learn to recognize their own items. All items brought to school including clothes must be labeled.(2) 應帶物品What do you bring to school?1.帶齊洗漱用品:包括洗發(fā)水、沐浴露、浴巾、毛巾、牙刷、牙膏。Toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel
9、, bath towels, towels, toothbrushes, toothpaste must also be marked.2.需準備一雙防滑拖鞋,兩雙運動鞋。Prepare a pair of non-slip slippers, two pairs of sport shoes.3.帶一個刷牙杯,兩個有蓋耐摔易清洗的喝水杯。Prepare a brush cup, two unbreakable and easy to clean drinking cup with cover.4. 帶齊衣物:包括內(nèi)衣褲及襪子各5件;兩套睡衣;3至4套換洗衣服,必須要有長褲。Clothing:
10、 prepare including 5 set of underwear 5 pairs of socks; two sets of pajamas; 3-4 sets of clothes, a few trousers.(3) 餐飲注意事項:除牛奶及水果外,不允許帶任何零食到宿舍。Except milk and fruit, not any snack is allowed to bring to the dormitory.三入學前準備:學習方面國際小學新生入學家長要準備什么What shall the Parents Prepare for the Newly Admitted Fi
11、rst Graders?父母是孩子最重要的老師。父母的第一責任是教育孩子。小學一年級入學是孩子生活的新起點,是人生道路上的一段重要的里程。從孩子背上書包,興高采烈地走進學校的第一天起,就意味著告別了無憂無慮的游戲為主要活動方式的幼兒時代,開始正式跨入以學習為主要任務的學生時代。這個時期既是孩子學習的知識含量大幅度增長、開啟智慧之門的黃金時期,又是培養(yǎng)良好學習習慣的最佳時期。 怎樣幫助孩子養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣,不單是老師在學校的教育,也是我們做家長的一份責任。只有家校雙向配合,形成良性循環(huán),才能使教育收到顯著成效。Parents are the most important teachers fo
12、r their children, and the first responsibility of the teachers is to educate their children. Entering a school as a first grader of primary school is not only a new beginning for the children, but also an important journey on their life path. Since the first day when they walk into the school cheerf
13、ully with their schoolbag, the children have to bid farewell to the early childhood during which period their major activity is the carefree game. They enter into the school-days with studying as the major task. This period is not only the Golden period when the children will be faced with new chall
14、enges, but also the best period to develop good learning habit. It is the resposibility of both the parents and Teachers to help children form good learning habits . Only through cooperation between Parents and teachers can a virtuous cycle be formed, thus rendering obvious effect on education.(1) 心
15、理上的準備 Psychological Preparation1. 激發(fā)孩子對“上學”的期待Stimulate childrens expectations for “going to school”“你開心不了幾天了,到小學有你受的!”、“等上小學給你上緊箍咒!”有的孩子在上學前,常常聽到這樣的話。于是,小學在孩子的眼里變成了“可怕”的地方。還沒跨進校門,孩子的心態(tài)就出了問題,以后的不順利可想而知。所以,千萬不要用“上學”來嚇唬孩子。也不要把自己對孩子上學的擔憂和焦慮傳遞給孩子,而要設法激發(fā)孩子對上學的期待。平時,家長在和孩子的聊天中,要不時傳遞這樣的信息“你長大了,就要上小學了,爸爸媽媽真
16、高興!”“我們家要有小學生了,我們真開心!”,讓孩子知道,父母為自己的成長高興,為自己上小學自豪。Before the start of the school life, children have always heard such words as“You wont be that happy anymore, and you will suffer a lot!” “You will be restricted by the Incantation of the Golden Hoop!” As a result, in childrens eyes, school becomes a
17、“terrible” place, and they suffer serious psychological problems before the school life. The negitive psychological effects can thus be imagined. Hence, do not ever scare children with “schooling”. Parents should avoid transmitting their own worries and anxieties to children, while at the same time
18、try to endow the children with expectations for attending school. Children should be taught to think of school as a happy place. At ordinary times, during the conversations with the children, parents should express such feelings “You have grown up, and you can finally go to school! We are so proud o
19、f you!” “We are so happy that we have a primary student in our family”. Parents should let the children be aware of the fact that parents are proud of their growth and ability to attend school.2. 學會和同學友好相處Learn to get along with schoolmates“離開了熟悉的伙伴”是不少孩子對上學最擔心的事,也是一些孩子入學后很不適應的原因之一。這樣家長就要教會孩子如何認識新朋友
20、:主動介紹:“我叫×××,我想和你做朋友,你愿意嗎?” 借物介紹:“我有一個小皮球,你愿意和我一起玩嗎?”參與游戲:“你們的游戲真好玩,能讓我和你們一起玩嗎?”孩子有了迅速認識新朋友的本事,就不會擔心自己在學校里孤單了。What worries most children is “l(fā)eaving their familiar companions”, which is also one of the reasons children have difficulties in adjusting to school life. In order to solve t
21、he problem, parents should teach their children to make new friends for example: initiative self-introduction. “My name is ×××, do you want to be my friend?” Introduction through lending. “I have a small ball, and will you join me?” Participate in games. “Your game is so interesting.
22、Can I join you?” When the children have the ability to make new friends quickly, there will be no loneliness anymore in the school.3. 學會自己解決與伙伴間的沖突Learn to settle the conflicts with their own companions孩子入學后,不像在幼兒園里什么事都可以找老師,與同學發(fā)生磨擦和矛盾時,必須開始獨立解決矛盾。家長應該多鼓勵孩子邀請朋友來家里做客,或去別的小朋友家玩,給孩子創(chuàng)造更多和不同年齡的孩子接觸的機會。當孩
23、子們之間發(fā)生沖突時,家長不要充當調(diào)解員,鼓勵他們自己解決。平時,家長可以和孩子討論,如果和小朋友遇到爭執(zhí),該怎么做。比如,怎樣和同伴一起玩一件玩具?別人想玩你的玩具時該怎么辦?你想玩別人手里的玩具時該怎么說?學會能站在對方的立場上想問題,能夠理解別人的想法、做法,善于與人溝通、交流。When children enter school, they have to learn to settle conflicts independently, because they cannot always get help from the teachers in case of conflicts a
24、nd contradictions, just like they have done in kindergarten. Moreover, parents should encourage their children to invite their friends to their home, or go to their home, so as to create more opportunities for connecting with elder children. In case of conflicts between children, parents should not
25、be the mediator; instead, they should let the children deal with the conflicts by themselves. In usual times, parents should discuss with their children about what to do when there is conflict or dispute. For example, how to share toys with new friends? What should you do when another child want you
26、r toy? What should you say when you want to toys from other children? Children should learn to think from the perspective of the other side, and try to understand others thoughts and actions. They should learn to be good at communicating with others.(2) 培養(yǎng)學習習慣的準備Preparation for developing learning h
27、abits 孩子入學后是否愿學?愛學?能學好?可能是家長們最擔心的問題。于是,有的家長為了孩子“能在起跑線上占據(jù)領先的地位”,提前輔導孩子學習小學的內(nèi)容,事實上,這種做法不僅無助于孩子的入學適應,還會造成孩子上課注意力渙散的不良習慣。專家的研究指出:孩子入學后學習感到困難的真正原因是孩子的抽象邏輯思維能力差,因此無法理解、掌握小學的學習內(nèi)容;另一個方面是社會適應能力發(fā)展差,即主動性、獨立性、規(guī)則意識、任務意識發(fā)展水平低,于是孩子入學后不能主動、獨立完成學習任務,不能按老師的要求完成作業(yè)。因此,入學前的準備內(nèi)容應著重在良好的學習、生活習慣和能力的培養(yǎng)上,而不是單純的知識準備。What worri
28、es the parents most are questions as “whether the children are willing to learn?” “Whether they love learning? and “Whether they can learn well?” As a result, some parents teach their children the contents for primary school in advance, which in fact, makes no contribution to childrens adaptation; i
29、nstead, the action can bring such bad habits of low concentration during class to the children. According to some experts, the real cause for the difficulties in learning can be the bad abstract logical thinking, due to which the students cannot understand and master the learning content in primary
30、school. The other cause would be the unsatisfying social adaptation ability, namely low developmental level in terms of initiative, independence, rule consciousness and task consciousness. As a result, the children cannot take the initiative to fulfill the learning assignment independently, or they
31、fail to complete the task according to the requirements of the teachers. Hence, the preparation before the start of school life shall lay emphasis on the cultivation of good learning and living habits as well as abilities instead of pure knowledge preparation.1. 幫助孩子正確了解學校Help children to properly u
32、nderstand the school開學前幾天,家長抽出時間帶孩子到學校去看一看,讓孩子熟悉一下學校的校園環(huán)境。父母可與孩子坐下來開個“家庭座談會”,認真地與孩子做一次交談。告訴孩子從上學起,就要努力學會自己的事自己做。按時、獨立思考完成作業(yè);孩子在幼兒園以游戲活動為主要的學習形式,到了小學,將被正規(guī)的學科課程代替,原來在游戲中學習,在學習中游戲, 變成了長達40分鐘的課堂教學和每天必須完成的家庭作業(yè)。Before the start of the school days, parents should take their children to have a look around t
33、he campus environment. Parents should sit down with their children to have a “family conversation”, in which the parents should conduct a serious conversation with their children. They should tell the children to learn to do their own stuff independently before school life begins. Children should le
34、arn to complete their assignment duly and independently. Childrens learning form has changed from the “play activity” in kindergarten to regular course discipline in primary school; the original “l(fā)earning from play activities, and playing from learning” has become the 40-minute course study and comp
35、ulsory daily homework. 2、有意識地培養(yǎng)孩子學習技能Develop some learning skills consciously for the children1)認真做事的習慣。Habit to work seriously家長可以有意識地培養(yǎng)孩子能靜心地坐下來,開始的時間可以是 20分鐘,以后再逐漸延長,不可操之過急。同時,可以布置一些小“作業(yè)”,如讓他看看圖畫書、畫些畫等等,做這些事時培養(yǎng)孩子一心一意、不講話、不時常站起來走動、認真做事的習慣。Parents can help teach their children to sit calmly. The be
36、ginning time can be 20 minutes, which can be lengthened gradually. However, the process should not be completed in a hurry. Meanwhile, some small “homework” can be arranged. For example, children can read some picture books, and do some drawings, from which their habit of doing things single-mindedl
37、y, silently, and earnestly can be developed.2)注意力集中的習慣。Habit of attention focusing專一持久的注意品質(zhì)是小學生上課作業(yè)的必要條件,在小學低年級,學業(yè)成績的好壞與其說是孩子智慧高低的反映,不如說是孩子注意品質(zhì)的反映。所以,請在暑假中有意識地鍛煉孩子的注意力。具體方法是:在活動前設定時間要求,如果孩子堅持下來,就給予適當獎勵,反之則施以一定懲罰。最初可以從孩子最感興趣的活動入手,逐步提高時間要求和活動難度,直到孩子能獨自堅持25分鐘不覺得疲勞。當孩子看書寫字時,家長要盡量避免在一旁大聲講話或看電視,最好是坐在孩子身邊和
38、他一起看書,既可以起到督促作用,又營造了一種學習的氛圍。久而久之,對孩子注意力的養(yǎng)成便可以起到潛移默化的作用。 Single-minded attention can be a necessity for the school work in primary school. In primary grades, the scholastic attainment can be more a reflection of the attention than the reflection of their intelligence. Hence, during summer vacations,
39、try to practice childrens attention. The specific method can be described as: set specific time before the activity; if the children can persist, they will be properly awarded; otherwise, there will be some punishments. At first, the process can be started from activities that the children are inter
40、ested in. Gradually, the time requirements and activity difficulty shall be increased, until the children can persist for 25 minutes without any fatigue. When the children are reading book, try to sit with them instead of talking loudly or watching TV. It dose not only serve as supervision, but also
41、 creates a learning atmosphere. As time passes, a subtle influence can be exerted on the development childrens attention.3)有時間觀念的習慣。Habit relating to sense of time做事磨蹭、做作業(yè)時間長是很多新小學生的通病。因為以前時間都由大人掌控,孩子自己對時間的概念很模糊。在孩子做某件事情(比如畫畫、聽故事)前,讓他做好充分的準備(喝水、上廁所等),一旦開始,就不許以各種借口來回走動了。規(guī)定好時間限制。比如在餐桌上放上鐘表,規(guī)定孩子在30分鐘之內(nèi)
42、必須吃完飯,要求他自我監(jiān)督。教給孩子節(jié)約時間的方法,比如,孩子收拾積木時,時間都耗費在來回走動上,家長可以教他先用小簍子盛放,等盛滿了再一起倒進玩具柜。教孩子學會簡單的統(tǒng)籌安排,也能提高孩子做事的效率。讓孩子體驗到珍惜時間的快樂。在規(guī)定的時間內(nèi),孩子提前完成了任務,省下的時間就讓孩子自由安排,做他想做的事。Delay or long homework hour can be the common problem among many new primary students. In previous days, the time is controlled by the parents; as
43、 a result, children have a vague concept about time. Before an assignment, such as drawing or listening to stories, children should be fully prepared For example,they should drink water and use the bathroom before staring the assignment. Once the assignment starts, they should not walk around with a
44、ny excuse. Time limit needs to be regulated. For example, put a clock on the dining desk, and children should finish eating within 30 minutes. They need to be taught with self-supervision, and leave the table when time is up. Moreover, teach children methods of saving time. For instance, when childr
45、en clear up the building blocks, much time has been wasted on walking around. Hence, parents can teach them to use the basket, and put the toys into the cupboard when it is full. Besides, the children shall be taught to make overall arrangements, which can improve their working effectiveness. Furthe
46、rmore, let the children experience the happiness of cherishing time. Within regulated time period, children can fulfill the task in advance, thus saving some time for them to make free arrangements and do what they want.3、提高孩子的語言理解能力Improve childrens verbal comprehension 有的小學生一開始記不下作業(yè)內(nèi)容,是因為語言理解能力差。語
47、言理解能力差還會嚴重影響孩子聽課的效果。因此,這也是一項家長需要重視的入學準備內(nèi)容。多和孩子交談。語言要盡量規(guī)范、準確,并逐步提高精煉和復雜度。如給孩子布置任務時,由“含一個條件”逐漸過渡到“含有多種指令”,比如,請你去拿一張小凳;請你去拿高的小凳;請你去廚房的陽臺上拿高的小凳。閱讀故事時,鼓勵孩子聽完全文后自己根據(jù)情節(jié)消化體味其中的語句、詞匯。鼓勵孩子談見聞,學習一個事物的多種表述方法。如“爸爸、媽媽和我在家里。”“這是我的家,我家有爸爸、媽媽和我”“這座漂亮的房子就是我家”等不同方法表述。Some primary students cannot remember the homework due to bad verbal comprehension, which will also seriously affec
