1、1英語中的修辭2Simile 明喻用 like, as, seem, as if, as though, similar to, such as等詞指出兩個(gè)截然不同的事物之間相似之處的辦法叫明喻.1 the wind sounded like the soar of a train passing a few yards away.(face to face with hurricane camille)2.the old mans hair is as white as snow3.that man cant be trusted. He is as slippery as an eel.3

2、Metaphor 隱喻,暗喻用一個(gè)詞來指代與該詞本來所指事物有相似特點(diǎn)的另一個(gè)事物的方法叫隱喻。1.we can batter down and ride it out.(face to face with hurricane camille)2 wind and rain now whipped the house.(face to face with hurricane camille)4Metonymy 借喻,轉(zhuǎn)喻用某一事物的名稱代替與之密切相關(guān)的另一事物名稱的寫法叫借喻。如：the bottle 代替wine。1 his purse would not allow him that l
