1、 2010 年 GCT 英語基礎班講義第一部分 GCT英語概況GCT是 Graduate Candidate Test 的簡稱,中文全稱是“碩士學位研究生入學資格考試” 。需要參加 GCT考試的在職人員攻讀碩士學位類別包括:工程碩士、農(nóng)業(yè)推廣碩士、獸醫(yī)碩士、風景園林碩士, 以及高等學校教師在職攻讀碩士學位等。GCT 考試是一種資格考試,通過考試即具備了申請學校的 資格??荚嚦煽儍赡陜?nèi)有效。GCT考試由四個部分構成:語文表達能力測試、數(shù)學基礎能力測試、邏輯推理能力測試、外語運 用能力測試。GCT 外語運用能力測試的目的旨在考察考生目前所具備的實際外語水平、外語閱讀能 力和外語運用能力。通過外語詞

2、匯量、語法、閱讀、日??谡Z等內(nèi)容的測試,了解考生使用外語的 綜合能力。GCT考試滿分為 400 分,每一部分 100 分,考試時間為 3 小時,每一部分 45 分鐘。GCT 英語運用能力測試的目的旨在考察考生目前所具備的實際英語水平、英語閱讀能力和英語 運用能力。通過英語詞匯量、語法、閱讀、日??谡Z等內(nèi)容的測試,了解考生使用英語的綜合能力。 命題范圍的水平相當于四年制大學非英語專業(yè)畢業(yè)生應達到的水平。 要求考生熟練掌握 4 000 個以上 的英語詞匯和基本語法知識,具有一定的閱讀和表達能力,并具有一定的社會、生活和工作背景知 識。本測試共有 50 道題,考試時間為 45 分鐘。試卷包括語法和詞

3、匯、閱讀理解、完型填空和會話 技能共五個題型、四個部分。試題滿分為 100 分,每道題 2 分??忌殢拿康李}所列的 A、B、C、D 四個備選答案中選出一個正確答案。1. 詞匯和語法部分主要是測試考生對基本英語詞匯和語法規(guī)則的掌握程度。其中語法和詞匯題 各 5 道,共計 10 道題,每題 2分,共計 20 分??荚嚂r間為 8 分鐘 。2. 閱讀理解部分主要測試考生英語的閱讀、理解、分析、判斷能力??忌枰莆找欢ǖ脑~匯 量和具有一定的閱讀速度以及知識背景。本部分共有 4 段獨立的短文,每段短文約有 150 個英語單 詞。短文內(nèi)容涉及政治、經(jīng)濟、歷史、地理、文化、科技、人文、時事等。要求考生閱讀

4、每段短文 后,回答 5 個問題。每個問題后有 4 個答案選項,其中 1 個選項為正確答案,要求考生選出正確答 案。該部分共有 20 道題,分值為 40 分??荚嚂r間為20 分鐘 。3. 完型填空主要測試考生對詞匯和語法的掌握程度,語法內(nèi)容包括冠詞、名詞、代詞、形容詞、 副詞、介詞、連詞、不定式、從句、時態(tài)、語態(tài)、倒裝和虛擬等。同時,考生還需要具有一定的閱 讀理解能力。本部分提供一篇約 240 個單詞的短文,在短文中有 10 個空白。每個空白有 4 個填空選 項,其中 1個為正確答案,要求考生選出正確答案。該部分考試時間大約為 8 分鐘,分值為20 分。4. 會話技能主要測試考生使用英語進行日常

5、會話的能力, 這些會話涉及的是生活中的常見情景, 測試考生理解會話的情景、把握對話人的角色以及掌握英語口語習慣用法的能力。本部分有 10 段不 完整的英語簡短對話,在每段對話后有 4 個選項,要求考生從中選出 1 個最符合情景和習慣用法的 答案,使得整個對話完整通順。該部分共 10 道題,考試時間 89 分鐘,分值為20 分。試題難易程度:較容易占 30%,一般難度占 50%,比較難占 20%評分標準:每道題 2分,考生須從所列的 A、B、C、D 四個備選答案中選出一個正確答案。特點:1. 全部題目為選擇題2. 詞匯和語法考查基本知識,不出偏難怪題3. 閱讀材料讀起來簡單,做起來難,圖表題最難

6、第二部分 基本知識復習第一節(jié)、詞匯復習一、單詞復習誤區(qū)1. 單詞考查的方式和各題型要求不清楚,背單詞的方向不明確。WhatHow2. AZ地毯式復習,試圖一網(wǎng)打盡所有詞匯,效率低。3. 復習無計劃,隨意性強,無效重復多,有效記憶少。4. 單詞復習方式單調(diào),只有死記硬背和背例句,缺乏多方位立體復習。5. 迷信捷徑,如諧音法、詞綴法等,浪費大量時間。5. 復習詞匯不能堅持,一天打漁,一月篩網(wǎng)。二、詞匯科學記憶方法GCT詞匯的復習有三個方面。(一多快好省背大綱:突擊解決大綱未掌握的詞匯的音、形、義。(二不擇手段炒單詞:全方位立體復習鞏固詞義,熟悉用法。(三融會貫通用單詞:結合考試題型對詞匯的具體應用

9、答案的目的。具體需要掌握的內(nèi)容如下:1. 名詞、代詞的數(shù)和格的構成形式及其用法;2. 動詞的基本時態(tài)、語態(tài)的構成形式及其用法;3. 形容詞、副詞的比較級和最高級的構成形式及其用法;4. 常用連接詞、冠詞的詞義及其用法;5. 非謂語動詞(不定式、動名詞、分詞的構成形式及其用法;6. 虛擬語氣的構成及其用法;7. 各類從句的構成及其用法;8. 強調(diào)句型的結構及其用法;9. 常用倒裝句的結構。二、語法復習方法1、語法項目快速復習,使用電子版語法書,將不熟悉的項目拷貝粘貼打印出來記憶練習。2、進行語法專項訓練。量不要太大。3、閱讀和完形填空題目復習時注意分析難句結構。第三部分 體驗 GCT 英語真題2
