1、 英語(yǔ) A 級(jí)語(yǔ)法(3)非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用作主語(yǔ)非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用作賓語(yǔ)非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用作定語(yǔ)非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用作狀語(yǔ)非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞用作賓補(bǔ)非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞為英語(yǔ)自學(xué)考試中出題最多的題型,重點(diǎn)考查不定式,分詞和動(dòng)名詞的句法功能。下面就非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞的用法作一簡(jiǎn)要概述?!居米髦髡Z(yǔ)】非謂語(yǔ)動(dòng)詞能用作主語(yǔ)的只有不定式和動(dòng)名詞,它們?cè)谶@一用法上略有區(qū)別:表示抽象的概念時(shí),可用不定式或動(dòng)名詞作主語(yǔ);表示個(gè)別的,具體的動(dòng)作或表示將來(lái)的意思時(shí),只能用不定式作主語(yǔ)。To solve the problem is out of question.解決這個(gè)問(wèn)題不在話下。(表示個(gè)別,具體的動(dòng)作,不用動(dòng)名詞短語(yǔ)solving the prob

3、,般用動(dòng)名詞,不可用不定式代替。There is no use crying over spilt milk.牛奶撒了,哭也沒(méi)有用。It is no good writing to him; he never answers letters.給他寫(xiě)信一點(diǎn)用也沒(méi)有,他從不回信。Is there any good trying to explain? 解釋會(huì)有用嗎3)不定式的復(fù)合結(jié)構(gòu)常用“It + be + adj. + for代詞賓格+不定式”的句式,其中不定式是真正的主語(yǔ),代詞賓格為它的邏輯主語(yǔ)。It is necessary for us to do some more practice.我

5、o buy a new car. 我買不起一輛新車。一些動(dòng)詞要求用動(dòng)名詞作賓語(yǔ),常見(jiàn)的有:enjoy, finish, avoid, excuse, mind,suggest, practise, admit, appreciate, consider, deny, quit, risk, stop, miss, complete, escape, mention, favor 等動(dòng)詞。He still did not admit stealing the diamond.他仍然不承認(rèn)偷了鉆石。You should practise speaking English as much as po

6、ssible.你應(yīng)該多練習(xí)說(shuō)英語(yǔ)。有些動(dòng)詞后既可跟不定式又可跟動(dòng)名詞作賓語(yǔ)。這有幾種情況:1 ) 如 like, begin, start, want, love, hate, attempt, continue, intend, prefer等動(dòng)詞,跟不定式或動(dòng)名詞作賓語(yǔ)意思差別不太大。一般說(shuō)來(lái),用動(dòng)名詞表示的是抽象的,時(shí)間不確定的動(dòng)作;用不定式表示的是具體的,確切的動(dòng)作。I like walking to school. 我喜歡步行去上學(xué)。(表示一個(gè)總體抽象的概念)I would like to walk to school today. 我今天想步行去上學(xué)。(表示一個(gè)具體的,確切的動(dòng)作)

7、有些動(dòng)詞,如stop, remember, forget, try, propose, mean, regret等,后接不定式和接動(dòng)名詞意思不同。stop to do 停下來(lái)去做某事stop doing 停止做某事remember/forget to do 記得 /忘了要去做某事remember/forget doing 記得/忘了做過(guò)某事try to do 努力,企圖try doing 試一試某種方法regret to do對(duì)尚未做或正在做的事表示遺憾regret doing對(duì)做過(guò)的事表示后悔mean to do 打算做某事mean doing 意味著propose to do打算做某事pr

8、opose doing建議做某事I do not remember ever meeting that man.我不記得見(jiàn)過(guò)那個(gè)人。Please remember to phone me when you get there.請(qǐng)到那兒之后給我打電話。I propose resting for half an hour. 我建議休息半個(gè)小時(shí)。I propose to go to London this summer.我打算夏天到倫敦去。I regret to tell you that you lost the game.我非常遺憾地通知你,你輸了。有些動(dòng)詞,如 advise, admit, a

9、llow, authorize, bear, consider, like,encourage, forbid,intend, permit, recommend 等,可同時(shí)用于“主語(yǔ) + 動(dòng)詞 + 動(dòng)名詞”和“主語(yǔ) + 動(dòng) 詞 + 賓語(yǔ) + 不定式”的結(jié)構(gòu)中。他們鼓勵(lì)通過(guò)收音機(jī)學(xué)英語(yǔ)。他們鼓勵(lì)我通過(guò)收音機(jī)學(xué)英語(yǔ)。她推薦游覽長(zhǎng)城。They encouraged learning English by radio.They encouraged me to learn English by radio.She recommended visiting the Great Wall.She rec

10、ommended us to visit the Great Wall.她建議我們游覽長(zhǎng)城。4 ) need, want, require, deserve, demand, bear 等動(dòng)詞后,跟不定式時(shí),用被動(dòng)形式表示被動(dòng)含義;跟動(dòng)名詞時(shí),用主動(dòng)形式表被動(dòng)含義。注意:此時(shí)主語(yǔ)多為物。This book deserves mentioning / to be mentioned.這本書(shū)值得一提。The room needs cleaning / to be cleaned.屋子需要打掃了?!居米鞫ㄕZ(yǔ)】不定式,動(dòng)名詞和分詞都可作定語(yǔ)。)不定式作定語(yǔ),一般后置,和它所修飾的名詞在邏輯上存在著動(dòng)賓

11、關(guān)系。因此,如不定式為不及物動(dòng)詞,需帶相應(yīng)的介詞。The subject I am going to write about is rather interesting.我正要寫(xiě)的這個(gè)題目十分有意思。( write 后需加上介詞about )動(dòng)名詞作定語(yǔ)相當(dāng)于名詞作定語(yǔ),一般前置。a swimming pool 游泳池reading material 閱讀材料3)分詞作定語(yǔ)相當(dāng)于形容詞作定語(yǔ),單個(gè)分詞作定語(yǔ)一般前置(但單個(gè)過(guò)去分詞常后置) ,分詞短語(yǔ)總是后置。Matter is the name given to everything which has weight and occupies

12、 space.物質(zhì)是一種名稱,用來(lái)指任何一個(gè)有重量占空間的東西。分詞與不定式作定語(yǔ)的區(qū)別:)現(xiàn)在分詞作定語(yǔ)表示事實(shí),正在進(jìn)行之事;不定式作定語(yǔ)表示目的,忠告,將要做之事。)分詞作定語(yǔ)時(shí),單個(gè)分詞作定語(yǔ)一般前置(但單個(gè)過(guò)去分詞常后置),分詞短語(yǔ)總是后置;不定式作定語(yǔ),一般后置,和它所修飾的名詞在邏輯上存在著動(dòng)賓關(guān)系或主謂關(guān)系。The next train to arrive was from New York. 下一輛到站的列車是從紐約開(kāi)來(lái)的。 TOC o 1-5 h z ( train 和 arrive 構(gòu)成主謂關(guān)系;to arrive 是一種將來(lái)的動(dòng)作。)I need a pen to wr

13、ite with. 我需要一只筆寫(xiě)字。( pen 和 write 構(gòu)成主謂關(guān)系;介詞 with 不可省。 )He has too many things to do. 他要做的事情太多了。( do 和 things 構(gòu)成動(dòng)賓關(guān)系;to do 是一種將來(lái)的動(dòng)作。)A little child learning to walk often falls.學(xué)走路的孩子常常摔跤。( learning towalk 表示一種正在進(jìn)行之動(dòng)作。)He wants his egg fried. 他要吃煎雞蛋。(fried 為過(guò)去分詞,后置,有一種被動(dòng)的含義,等于to be fried)【用作狀語(yǔ)】不定式和分詞都

14、可用作狀語(yǔ)。) 不定式作狀語(yǔ)常用作目的狀語(yǔ),原因狀語(yǔ),結(jié)果狀語(yǔ),表示一種目的,結(jié)果,或者表示未來(lái)的動(dòng)作。分詞作狀語(yǔ),可表示時(shí)間,原因,伴隨狀況,讓步,條件,方式等。) 現(xiàn)在分詞作狀語(yǔ)表示一種主動(dòng)。過(guò)去分詞作狀語(yǔ)表示被動(dòng),并常用來(lái)說(shuō)明動(dòng)作發(fā)生的背景或情況。To become a teacher, it is necessary to have at least a masters degree.要成為一名教師,至少必須得有碩士學(xué)位。(不定式作目的狀語(yǔ),并表示一種未來(lái)的動(dòng)作)Arriving home at daybreak, he felt deadly tired.他天亮了才到家,都快累死了。

TOC o 1-5 h z 了廢寢忘食的地步。(過(guò)去分詞作伴隨狀語(yǔ),并表示被動(dòng)。)他被雨淋得濕透了。(用過(guò)去分詞只他被雨淋得濕透了。(用現(xiàn)在分他被雨淋得濕透了。(用現(xiàn)在分詞Caught in th

16、e rain, he was wet to the skin.強(qiáng)調(diào)原因,無(wú)時(shí)間概念。)Having caught in the rain, he was wet to the skin.詞完成式強(qiáng)調(diào)分詞動(dòng)作發(fā)生在主句動(dòng)作之前。)Being caught in the rain, he was wet to the skin.被動(dòng)式強(qiáng)調(diào)分詞動(dòng)作與主句動(dòng)作同時(shí)發(fā)生。)分詞獨(dú)立主格結(jié)構(gòu)一般分詞結(jié)構(gòu)作狀語(yǔ)時(shí),其邏輯主語(yǔ)就是主句的主語(yǔ);而獨(dú)立主格結(jié)構(gòu)作狀語(yǔ)的條件就是其邏輯主語(yǔ)與主句的主語(yǔ)不一致。分詞獨(dú)立主格結(jié)構(gòu)的作用相當(dāng)于分詞短語(yǔ)作狀語(yǔ),表示原因,時(shí)間,讓步,伴隨狀況等。 The work done,

20、ut 等搭配之后,動(dòng)詞不定式不帶to 。They cannot but accept his idea. 他們不得不接受他的主意。Id rather not have classes in the morning.我不愿意上午上課。2) 在介詞 except, but 之后,如果其前有動(dòng)詞do 的某種形式,不定式一般不帶to ;反之則須帶to 。沒(méi)有辦法只有等下一列火別無(wú)它法只好請(qǐng)大夫了。只有改革才能挽救這個(gè)公司。Theres nothing to do except wait for another train. 車了。Theres nothing else to do but send f
