Undoubtedly, this change has changed our lives significantly, but I would not say that the changes have improved our lives or our living stand

3、ards.First, food is not healthy, anymore. Today, it is possible to keep food fresher for a longer period of time. Yet, we have to keep in mind that it is possible only because various preservatives and artificial flavorings are added to it.Furthermore, cooking used to be a type of art, which is now

4、dying out. Cooking used to be a means of eliminating stress and tension. Unfortunately, the time when people were able to relax cooking food is over.Still, there might be some people who would disagree with me saying that we have gained some more minutes of our precious time. In this case I would li

5、ke to ask them a question do you think it is really worth having unhealthy food in order to get some more time? Moreover, these spare minutes will be most probably wasted somehow, as you cannot do a lot of things in about fifteen minutes.To conclude, I would agree that it is easier and faster to pre

6、pare food nowadays. Still, I would ask you to pay your attention to the facts that eating unhealthy food will in no way do you a favor.Score 4.0:With the advancement of technology and science, many instruments and equipments are being introduced in our daily life. One of their benefits is processing

7、 of food material faster and easily. this has brought some changes in the people life.Firstly, due to the advent of food preparing machines like mixers, microwave, pressure cookers , making food items have become easier and faster. This help the people who have busy schedules like the proffesionals

8、and research scientists. So people do not have to schedule much time preparing the food and food can be quickly served. So the change has adapted with the fast life of the people.Also, the people who do not have families and live life singly, particularly the bachelor guys, feel these equipments eas

9、ier and more convenient . Generally they do not have the knowledge of making food dishes, but with the help of the modern machines and technologies they can easily prepare food. So they now prefer to lead life alone rather than in families and concentrates more in their career.But, the machines and

10、equipments have also made people little bit lazy due to the easiness and fastness. People do not work hard to make food, which have the changed the conventional ives and mothers. Still, the easiness to prepare food have changed to people life positively in respect of development, accceleration, care

11、er, and time management .Score 5.0Nowadays, wherever we turn our gaze, we can see different types of food that are easier to prepare. It cannot be doubted that our eating style has encountered a revolutionary change in the last few decades. It is the change in the type of food that has had the great

12、est influence. For instance, we can buy frozen food in a supermarket and just prepare it in a couple of minutes, whereas before it could have taken us maybe hours to prepare this kind of meal. Not only have the recipes of certain food types have been altered, but also new ones have been created. Exa

13、mples include yet are not restricted to beef hamburgers, potato chips, ready madeavailable yoghurt, frozen meat and cold drinks. I would accept that this so called improvement changed our lives, but i believe there are some drawbacks as well. It is true that these kinds of food do not involve hard w

14、ork to prepare, but food that is easy to prepare generally has some artificial ingredients mixed in it that makes it easy to prepare. If we take time to read the ingredients, we would definitely come across the words like preservatives or artificial flavorings. Many newly emerged types of food have

15、not the essence of a complete meal as defined by the nutritionists. To add to the problem, these food types are often served alone. In fact, there are many medical reports warning people from dependingupon such fast meals in their food. Other reports indicate a high potential of malnutrition among t

16、hose who are addicted” to the common duet of burgers and colas.Not having to cook has also taken the fun out of cooking. Cooking is an art, but in todays world, this is no more true. People are so busy in their work that they just rely on these simple foods. The invention and production of these foo

17、ds have made people lazy not only for cooking but also for a well family get together. It was not like former times when families would sit together and eat freshly baked food. With the absence of regular family get together, relationships are likely to be weaker. People think that fast prepared foo

18、d types dp improve our style of life. This opinion comes especially from bust people, working wives, and younger people. They believe that we have many things in life more important than eating. Time spent on food preparation is considered waste by them. Wives will have more time to care of their fa

19、milies souls not just stomachs. Family relationships will get stronger. Business men and women will have more time to concentrate on their arrangements. In general, people will have a greater opportunity to take care of their minds and hearts.I agree with that food preparation should take its necess

20、ary time and care. Otherwise, the time saved in food preparation can lead to longer times of headache or even of staying in hospitals suffering from malnutrition.Score 5.0Nowadays, food has become easier to prepare. 21、re time for other activities. This is why, in my point of view, the change has improved the way people live. First of all, people have saved their efforts from cooking. 22、ed. People can buy half-done food from supermarket, which has simplified the cooking process. What they need to do is to finish the rest of food preparation. Also, more and more convenient cookers have occurred. These cookers have helped to save the cooking time greatly. People do not have to wait f

23、or as a long time as before cooking. In this case, the easier food preparation has improved the way people live.Another reason that this change has improved the way people live is that people can have more time to enjoy other activities. Since people do not have to put as much time as before, they c

24、an plan more other activities. For example, they may do more exercise to build their body, or they can spend more time on their hobbies. In another words, people can spend more time other beneficial things. Therefore, with easier food preparation, the way people lived has been improved.In conclusion

Of course, different people have different reason to study in college. For example, som

28、in the college for, studying in the college is just a preparation for their future life.First of all, students can learn new knowledge and experiences from the studying in the college. There are many teachers, professors with abundant teaching experience who teach students lots of new knowledge and

After they finish their study in the college, students go to work in the society and contribute to the different

43、slow for us. Microwave cooking is much easier. We can press a few buttons and a meal is completely cooked in just a short time. People used to spend hours preparing an oven-cooked meal, and now they can use that time for other, better things. Plus, there are all kinds of portable, prepackaged foods

44、we can buy. Heat them in the office microwave, and lunch at work is quick and easy.Food preparation today allows for more variety. With refrigerators and freezers; we can preserve a lot of different foods in our homes. Since technology makes cooking so much faster, people are willing to make several

45、 dishes for even a small meal. Parents are more likely to let children be picky, now that they can easily heat them up some prepackaged macaroni and cheese on the side. Needless to say, adults living in the same house may have very different eating habits as well. If they dont want to cook a lot of

46、different dishes, its common now to eat out at restaurants several times a week.Healthful eating is also easier than ever now. When people cook, they can use new fat substitutes and cooking sprays to cut fat and calories. This reduces the risk of heart disease and high cholesterol. Additionally, we

47、can buy fruits and vegetables fresh, frozen or canned. Theyre easy to prepare, so many of us eat more of those nutritious items daily. A hundred years ago, you couldnt imagine the process of taking some frozen fruit and ice from the freezer, adding some low fat yogurt from a plastic cup and some jui

48、ce from a can in the refrigerator, and whipping up a low fat smoothie in the blender!Our lifestyle is fast, but people still like good food. What .new food preparation technology has given us is more choices. Today, we can prepare food that is more convenient, healthier, and of greater variety than

49、ever before in history.It has been said, Not everything that is learned is contained in books. Compare and contrast knowledge gained from experience with knowledge gained from books. 50、ves. From reading words in text book such as toy, car, train etc. , people have the concept and ideas. They further understand the actual meaning of these words by playing toys and riding or driving cars, trains etc.Education (books) and experience are the main two channels for People to gain their

As books have limitation, they only teach us the what people found in the past. The knowledge from t

For example, mould and tools design for plastics industry, the university course only taught me very simple cases, most knowledge are obtained from various different and complicated cases in my career. There are a lot new inventions

55、 and new products which could not be found from textbooks. Our society and world are developed through continuous practices, those knowledge, never found in books, such as internet, e-business etc. are all developed through new practices. The truth comes from practices and experience, people are con

56、tinually discovering new things and assessing the creditability of the knowledge written in books. The knowledge from experience help us much more than those from books.A company has announced that it wishes to build a large factory near your community. Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of th

57、is new influence on your community. Do you support or oppose the factory? Explain your position.New factories often bring many good things to a community, such as jobs and increased prosperity. However, in my opinion, the benefits of having a factory are outweighed by the risks. That is why I oppose

58、 the plan to build a factory near my community. I believe that this city would be harmed by a large factory. In particular, a factory would destroy the quality of the air and water in town. Factories bring smog and pollution. In the long run, the environment will be hurt and peoples health will be a

59、ffected. Having a factory is not worth that risk.Of course, more jobs will be created by the factory. Our population will grow. To accommodate more workers, more homes and stores will be needed. Do we really want this much growth, so fast? If our town is going to grow, I would prefer slow growth wit
