I am also more open to physical expressions when using English, such as hugging, gesturing and using more exaggerated facial expressions

Working on the same topic in English and Chinese ends up in me using extremely different choices of words and structures. I often find myself arguing for t

Does that mean that it is possible that my Chinese friends will not like the English-speaking me, and my foreign friends would not care for my personality when I speak Chinese?但是等一下!那是否意味著我的中國朋友們有可能不喜歡說英語的我,而我的外國朋友 們根本不關(guān)心說中文時我的人格?Nevertheless, changing your personality and worldvie

My friend, a Chinese who speaks fluent Japanese, showed a more humble, tender tone and attitude when using Japanese.當(dāng)我們到日本旅行時,我朋友身上也發(fā)生了

7、類似的事情。我的朋友是一個日語講得很流 利的中國人,當(dāng)說日語時她表現(xiàn)出一種更加謙卑、溫柔的語調(diào)。I think it must have something to do with the fact that the Japanese use special words and styles to show respect for an older person or a person at a higher position than themselves.
