Ask students to observe three pairs of pictures and then answer some questions:1. What can you see in these pictures? 2

Present and explain the topic of Unit 6 - compassion.Compassion is sharing the suffering of others. It is being there for them, and listening to them patiently. When friends show co

6、mpassion, it feels as though they are helping us carry our burden. The joy of experiencing their love reduces our suffering. Caring for others is something basic to human nature. To care is to express humanness. Step 2. Global understandingAsk the Students to read the passage as quickly as they can

7、and then answer the questions on the screen. Let them get the main idea of each paragraph and be clear about the text structure.1. How to translate the title of Text A?2.
