2、 holiday celebrated primarily in Canada and the United States.The real origin of Thanksgiving Day in America was on September 8, 1565. The people who held it were French, but they were killed by the Dutchman the next year. Now the most accepted origin is this:In Sep.1620, some pilgrims couldnt toler

3、ate the rules of the church in England. So they sailed to Holland . Its better, but they were not satisfied. To seek religious freedom, they begun the journey to America by the ship Mayflower. After 65 days, they set ground at Plymouth Rock on Dec.11,1620. Its winter then. But there was not enough f

4、ood and its very cold,and they didnt adapted to the environment. After the harsh winter, only 56 survived. The next year, with the help of the native Indians, they have a nice harvest.
