9、of three children of a banker, and his speed of learning new ideas and handling problems stood out early. At 17, his father tried to persuade him not to become a mathematician because he might lead a poor life, so Von Neumann agreed to study chemistry as well. In 1926, at 23, he received a degree in

They wanted to know what young people in American colleges

All of them currently attend, or formerly attended, 2- or 4-year college or university.The average test score, out of 75 total possible ans

Only 60 percent of those taking the survey could identify Brazil on a world map.Part of the problem, argue the organizers o
