4、與定語(yǔ)從句相混淆,的確他們?cè)谛问缴嫌衅湎嗤?,但他們也有一些不同之處。首先,從意義上講:同位語(yǔ)從句是對(duì)某一抽象概念名詞的補(bǔ)充說(shuō)明或者對(duì)它進(jìn)行解釋?zhuān)蝗欢ㄕZ(yǔ)從句是對(duì)前一名詞進(jìn)行修飾限定。其次,從結(jié)構(gòu)上講:同位語(yǔ)從句中連接代詞that不指前一名詞,不在從句中擔(dān)當(dāng)任何成分,不能省略;然而定語(yǔ)從句中that即是指先行詞,須要在定語(yǔ)從句中擔(dān)當(dāng)一成分,可以作從句的主語(yǔ)、賓語(yǔ)、表語(yǔ)。作賓語(yǔ)時(shí)可以省略,此外,同位語(yǔ)從句所補(bǔ)充說(shuō)明的名詞多為一些表示抽象概念的名詞fact、news、hope、truth、idea、suggestion、thought、question、order、problem、belief、

5、fear、promise、information、doubt等;而定語(yǔ)從句所修飾限定的名詞卻無(wú)限定。例如:1、Thenewsthatwearehavingaholidayisnottrue.“這則消息,我們將會(huì)放假系謠傳”.該句中thatwearehavingaholiday為同位語(yǔ)從句,是對(duì)news的補(bǔ)充說(shuō)明,而that不作任何語(yǔ)法成分,只起連接作用.2、Thenewsthatwereceivedwasfrommyfather.“我們昨天受到的這則消息來(lái)自于我父親”,該句為定語(yǔ)從句,thatwereceived作定語(yǔ)修飾先行詞news,that即先行詞news作從句received的賓語(yǔ),t
