One day, I arrived home from school feeling overheated, exhausted, and angry with my brothers for being kicked out of the car and walking home alone.Taking

4、ter spraying. We didnt stop until we were nearly wet all over and out of water. Calling a truce(休戰(zhàn)), we decided to team up and take on a larger, more dangerous enemy. While taking turns reloading our weaponry, we hatched our plan.Our mother was outside watering the garden, totally unaware of the dan

5、ger approaching her from behind. We silently counted to three and began showering her with water.She turned around and stood still as we finished the last of our supply.Only when she thought our guns were empty did she dare speak a word. However, when she began to lecture us,a stray drop shot from m

6、y gun,landing smack dab in her right eye,and she lost her temper.We ran to the living room with our mother close behind and barely reached the door in time to shut her out.She began pounding on it and shouting at us to let her in,but we had no idea that this was all an act. She actually had her own

10、 which left the car teetering(搖晃)in the creek.Martinez tried to open the car doors, but they got stuck. And he tried to hit the car windows and the windscreen, but he was unable to find hard objects to break down the glass.What was worse, water kept flowing inside the car from the cracks of the car,

11、 making much of the car room occupied by muddy water. And the car was so close to the creekbed that it was probably soon to be pushed behind it. But more unfortunately, Martinezs leg was badly injured in the accident.Trapped inside with the muddy water rising quickly, Martinez was hopeless to pull h

12、imself out of the danger. It was still raining then. On the road right behind Martinez were a party-rental delivery driver Jonathan and his young nephew Reyes. They watched the terrible disaster unfold, and when Martinezs SUV came to rest in the middle of the creek, Jonathan and Reyes became extreme

13、ly anxious. Reyes planned doors, but they got stuck. And he tried to hit the car windows and the windscreen, but he was unable to find hard objects to break down the glass. What was worse, water kept flowing inside the car from the cracks of the car, making much of the car room occupied by muddy wat
