高考英語作文專項突破一輪復(fù)習講義（全國通用）[11]語言宜簡不宜繁，用詞簡潔才是要義任何語言都是宜簡不宜繁的，如果本可以少量的詞匯但卻偏偏使用許多詞匯來表達同一個意思，這樣的句子就是啰嗦的。語言不簡潔一般來說有兩個原因：第一是學生想要湊字以完成過字數(shù)要求；第二是盲目使用一些句型句式，或濫用模板。如下的表格列舉了一些常見的冗詞。

如上三種情況：第一種是在我們學習語言的初級階段都會遇到的情況。左側(cè)和右側(cè)詞匯都很簡單，但左側(cè)有多余的詞匯。這個問題會隨著學習者不斷深入學習一門語言而消除；第二種是目前考試類作文當中比較集中的情況。典型的特點是左側(cè)的比右側(cè)的復(fù)雜的多，那么這些詞匯或短語不是因為不好（有時非常好），而是與考生其他方面的水平不匹配，就猶如一個穿著Prada上衣卻搭配運動褲，甚至搭配籃球鞋的人。但多數(shù)情況下，這類詞匯都是冗長的。第三種是在平時閱讀中也能見到的，嚴格來說它不能算冗詞。但如果一味的為了應(yīng)用這些詞而使用，或是為了湊字數(shù)而使用，那么他們就會變成冗詞；第四種往往是考試時根據(jù)漢語意思而查出的同義英語詞，然后看哪一個復(fù)雜就用哪一個而造成的情況。事實上，詞與詞之間是有區(qū)別的，有的詞表面意思一樣但感情色彩不一樣，有的詞意思完全一樣但搭配不一樣。同學們應(yīng)該在字典里詳細比較不同詞的用法。
