目錄Part1vocabularyandphrase1.belongtobelongto意為“屬于”,后接名詞或代詞,但后面不能接名詞所有格。例如:ThehousebelongstoMr.Wang.這所房子是王先生的。TheMP5belongstome.這個MP5是我的?!咀⒁狻縝elongto無被動語態(tài)和進(jìn)行時2.noisenoise,名詞,意為“噪音”、“喧鬧聲”,常指不悅耳、不和諧的嘈雜聲。例如:
Don’tmakeanynoise!別吵鬧!
Thenoisewakesmeup.噪音吵醒了我!詞性轉(zhuǎn)換:noisy,形容詞,意為“吵鬧的”辨析:noise/sound/voice(1)sound可以指人或動物發(fā)出的聲音,或物體碰撞的聲音??梢哉f,大自然的任何“聲音”都可以用sound。例如:Lighttravelsmuchfasterthansound.光的傳播速度比聲音快得多。
(2)voice一般指人的聲音,說話、唱歌、談笑都可用voice。例如:Thegirlhasabeautifulvoice.那女孩嗓音很美。
3.pickup
pickup意為“撿起,拾起”,例如:Shepickedupastoneandthrewitatthedog.她撿起一塊石頭朝那條狗扔去?!就卣埂縫ickup還有以下幾種含義:(1)表示“中途搭載乘客”;“接人”等意思?例如:WaithereandI’llpickyouupattwoo’clock.在這兒等著,兩點(diǎn)鐘我來接你?(2)表示“意外發(fā)現(xiàn)”;“學(xué)到”;“獲得”等意思?例如:Thestudentspickedupagreatdealofinformation.學(xué)生們獲得了許多信息?
4runawayrunaway是固定搭配,表示“逃跑”。例如:
Thethieftriedtorunaway,buthefailed.那個小偷試圖逃跑,但失敗了?!就卣埂砍R姷腶way的短語有:
takeaway拿走stayaway離開moveaway搬走putaway收起來
giveaway捐贈 5.probablyprobably是副詞,表示“很可能;大概”,語氣較強(qiáng),含有可能性較大的意味,例如:
