大學英語教學大綱

課程編號：10000006-10000009開課學期：1-秋、1-春、2-秋、2-春適用專業(yè)：非英語專業(yè)學時：理論176+實踐72+課外61第一部分說明課程的性質(zhì)和作用大學英語教學是高等教育的一個有機組成部分，大學英語課程是大學生的一門必修的基礎課程。大學英語是以外語教學理論為指導，以英語語言知識與應用技能、跨文化交際和學習策略為主要內(nèi)容，并集多種教學模式和教學手段為一體的教學體系。大學英語教學目標是培養(yǎng)學生的英語綜合應用能力，特別是聽說能力，使他們在今后學習、工作和社會交往中能用英語有效地進行交際，同時增強其自主學習能力，提高綜合文化素養(yǎng)，以適應我國社會發(fā)展和國際交流的需要。二、課程的任務與基本要求大學英語教學是實施全面素質(zhì)教育的主要途徑。語言基本功的訓練是大學英語教學的首要任務，并且貫穿于教學的全過程，在注重學生聽、說、讀、寫、譯各項技能全面發(fā)展的同時，突出說、寫、譯等語言交際能力的培養(yǎng)。大學英語課程教學既提高學生的業(yè)務素質(zhì)，又培養(yǎng)其思想道德素質(zhì)、文化素質(zhì)和心理素質(zhì)，并重視學生思維能力和創(chuàng)新能力的養(yǎng)成。大學英語教學指基礎階段的英語學習，共二年四個學期。其目的是為學生打好扎實的語言基礎的同時，進一步培養(yǎng)和提高學生的閱讀能力和一定的聽、說、讀、寫、譯能力。通過提問和討論，培養(yǎng)學生分析、推理、歸納、綜合等思考能力和表述、研討、爭辯、應答等語言運用能力。挖掘課本中富有“內(nèi)涵意義”的語言內(nèi)容，注重人對社會現(xiàn)實的思考。三、教學方法與建議鑒于我院大學生人數(shù)迅速增長和可利用教育資源的相對有限，我們應當充分利用多媒體、網(wǎng)絡技術(shù)發(fā)展帶來的契機，采用新的教學模式改進原來的以教師講授為主的單一課堂教學模式。新的教學模式應以現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)為支撐，特別是網(wǎng)絡技術(shù)，使英語教學朝著個性化學習、不受時間和地點限制的學習、主動式學習方向發(fā)展。新的教學模式應體現(xiàn)英語教學的實用性、文化性和趣味性融合的原則，應能充分調(diào)動教師和學生兩個方面的積極性，尤其要確立學生在教學過程中的主體地位。新教學模式在技術(shù)上應體現(xiàn)交互性、可實現(xiàn)性和易于操作性。另外，新教學模式在充分利用現(xiàn)代信息技術(shù)的同時，也要充分考慮和合理繼承現(xiàn)有教學模式中的優(yōu)秀部分。四、本課程與其它課程的關(guān)系隨著全球經(jīng)濟迅速趨向一體化，英語以其特有的國際通用語言的地位，將起到越來越重要的國際作用。它是一種技能，也是一種載體。當外語與某一被載體結(jié)合時才會形成有突出優(yōu)勢的專業(yè)，擁有這樣專業(yè)的人才，才是適應新形勢的復合型人才。第二部分本文基本內(nèi)容與學時分配《全新版大學英語綜合教程》大學英語（一）Unit1
