Oracle’sSiebelConnectorforACORDXMLprovidesintegrationbetweenOracle’sSiebelBusinessApplicationsandotherinsuranceapplicationsystems,suchasapolicyadministrationsystem.TheconnectorsupportstheACORDXMLBusinessMessageSpecificationforP&CInsuranceandSurety,aninsuranceindustry-standardXMLspecification.

TheSiebelConnectorforACORDXMLreceives,parses,andprocessesthebusinessoperationsspecifiedintheXMLmessage.Ithandlesbothoutboundandinboundmessages.

ThisintegrationofferscapabilitiesdesignedtomeetallPropertyandCasualtymessagespecificationrequirements.ThissolutionallowsyoutoharnessthesynergiesbetweenSiebelfrontofficeapplicationsandACORD-basedapplications.SiebelConnectorforACORDXMLextendsSiebelapplicationstointegratewithbackofficedataandbusinessprocesses.

TheSiebelConnectorforACORDXMLsupportsbothsynchronousandasynchronoustransactionsacrossapplicationboundaries.Theresultingconsistencyandsharingofdataallowscoordinationbetweenfrontandbackofficeoperations.Forexample,salesandserviceprofessionalscanenterbasicpolicyinformationinOracle’sSiebelFinancialServicesapplicationsandreceiveareal-timeresponsewithaquoteforthepolicyentered.Thesalesorserviceprofessionalcanthenenterthepolicydetails,withouteverleavingtheSiebelapplicationinterface,bycompletingtherequirementsandissuingthepolicytothecustomer.
