SensorysystemAsensorysystemisapartofthenervoussystemresponsibleforprocessingsensoryinformation.Asensorysystemconsistsofsensoryreceptors,neuralpathways,andpartsofthebraininvolvedinsensoryperception.Commonlyrecognizedsensorysystemsarethoseforvision,hearing,somaticsensation(touch),tasteandolfaction(smell).SensoryOrgans:

SensoryreceptorsAccessoryorgansSensoryreceptorsconverttheenergyofthestimulus(light,heat,sound,smell)intonerveimpulsesandsendthesetothecentralnervoussystem.
