Inadditiontomyhelpingoutinmyfather’sbusiness,Ihavehadnumerousotherworkexperiencesthatfurtherenhancemyqualificationsforthisjob.MyresumeenumeratesthevariouspositionsIhaveheldatKerasotesTheaters,Chili’srestaurants,andIndianaUniversity’snewStudentRecreationalSportsCenter(SRSC),andwhatallofthesepositionshaveincommonisanemphasisonservingthepubliceffectively.Further,asanassistantmanagerattheShowplace11andastaffcoordinatorattheSRSC,Ihavegainedvaluableexpertiseinmanagingemployeesandcreatingworkschedules.Bothofthesepositionshaveallowedmetodevelopmysalesandpersonalskills,whichareextremelyimportantinanincreasinglyservice-drivenmarketplace. Also,IrecentlyparticipatedinaninternshipprogramforacademiccreditwiththeEliLillyCorporationinthepersonneldivision.Asamanagementintern,IwasabletowatchtheworkingsofamajorcorporationupcloseandwouldliketheopportunitytocombinemyexperienceswiththetheoreticalbackgroundavailableintheMBAprogramatIUB,withitsemphasisoncomputers,marketingandhumanresources.
