MrsMoorehadworkedhardalldayattheoffice,andshewaslookingforwardtoarelaxingeveningathome.

Justasshewalkedinthedoor,thetelephonebegantoring.Shedashedtoanswerthephoneandfoundthatthecallerwasamantryingtosellhersomelightbulbs.Sherefusedandhungupthephone.

Shesmelleddinnercookingandwentintoseehowherchildrenweregettingalongwiththemeal.Everythingwasreadyexceptsettingthetable,soMrsMoorewentupstairstochangeclothes.

Justasshereachedtheheadofthestairs,thetelephonerangagain.WhenMrsMooreansweredit,shefoundoutthatherhusbandwouldn'tbehomefordinner.
