—Weneedto…toprotect…動(dòng)詞不定式的功能

1.動(dòng)詞不定式做賓語補(bǔ)足語。

動(dòng)詞不定式作賓語補(bǔ)足語,是對(duì)賓語的補(bǔ)充說明。常見的動(dòng)詞有:want,tell,wouldlike,choose,allow,ask,invite,help等。

注意:〔1〕以上動(dòng)詞后接不定式做賓語補(bǔ)足語時(shí),假設(shè)要表達(dá)否認(rèn)意思,要在todo前面加not,構(gòu)成nottodo的形式。

e.g.Mr.Hantoldusnottomaketoomuchnoise.

〔2〕有些動(dòng)詞后接不定式做賓語補(bǔ)足語時(shí),可以接不帶to的不定式,常見的這類動(dòng)詞有:help,make,let,have,hear,feel,see等。

e.g.Hiswordsmadeeveryonelaugh.

2.動(dòng)詞不定式作目的狀語。

如果表示“做某事是為了什么〞,可以用動(dòng)詞不定式表示目的,作目的狀語。

ThewildBactriancamellivesinMongoliaandthenorthwestofChina.Itisalargecamel,andtheonlykindofcamelintheworldwithtwohumps.Thereareonlyabout1,000Bactriancamelsleftinthewild.動(dòng)詞不定式作主語用法小結(jié)動(dòng)詞不定式的根本形式為“to+動(dòng)詞原形〞,其否認(rèn)形式是“notto+動(dòng)詞原形〞。它能起名詞的作用,在句子中充當(dāng)主語、表語、賓語和賓語補(bǔ)足語。動(dòng)詞不定式在作主語時(shí),用法主要有以下兩種:一、動(dòng)詞不定式作主語時(shí)常用it作形式主語,而往往將動(dòng)詞不定式放在謂語或表語之后。如:It'snoteasytolearnaforeignlanguagewell.(=Tolearnaforeignlanguagewellisnoteasy.)學(xué)好一門外語不容易。在此句型中,如果要說明動(dòng)詞不定式的動(dòng)作是誰做的,可在不定式前加一個(gè)for引起的短語,作不定式的邏輯主語。如:It'sdifficultforustofinishthework.對(duì)我們來說,完成這項(xiàng)工作很困難。It'shardformetoansweryourquestion.要我答復(fù)你的問題很難。但是,如果表語是kind,nice,right,wrong,clever,polite等描述行為者的性格、品質(zhì)的形容詞,那么應(yīng)在不定式前加一個(gè)of引起的短語。如:這個(gè)例子屬于上面的換一個(gè)of引起的。It'sverykindofyoutohelpme.你能幫我,真好。注意:1.ofsb.和forsb.這兩種結(jié)構(gòu)還有一個(gè)區(qū)別,在ofsb.結(jié)構(gòu)中,可用sb.直接作句子的主語來改寫成“It's+形容詞+ofsb.+動(dòng)詞不定式〞結(jié)構(gòu)。試比擬:It'sfoolishofhimtogoalone.(=Hewasfoolishtogoalone.)他單獨(dú)出去太傻了。

It'skindofyoutogivemethebook.(=Youarekindtogivemethebook.)你給我這本書,真是太好了。

forsb.結(jié)構(gòu)那么不能這樣轉(zhuǎn)換。例如,不可以說:Wearedifficulttofinishthework.

2.動(dòng)詞不定式作主語,同時(shí)有另一個(gè)不定式作表語時(shí),不能轉(zhuǎn)換成“It's...todosth.〞的句型。如:

[正]Toseeistobelieve.百聞不如一見。

[誤]It'stobelievetosee.二、“疑問代(副)詞+動(dòng)詞不定式〞也可以在句中作主語。如:
