某人花費多長時間做某事。

②Itis+adj.+forsbtodosth.

做某事對某人來說是……的。

某人做某事真是……(該句型中的形容詞常常是kind,nice,good,honest,polite,rude,careful,careless,wise,foolish,stupid等,用來說明人的性質(zhì)、特征)

例:It’sveryfoolishofmetotrusthim.不定式作主語時,如果不定式短語較長,為了避免頭重腳輕,常用it作形式主語,而把不定式放后面賓語例:Hehopestogetagoodjobinthecity.

Whatsportsdoesheliketoplay?作某些動詞的賓語(常見的有want,ask,hope,afford,try,agree,decide,expect,happen,manage,remember,forget,plan,promise,refuse等),動詞不定式作賓語,后面有賓語補足語時,常用it作形式賓語,一般不作介詞的賓語(but,except除外)賓補例:Sheaskedmetoopenthewindow.Ifinditinterestingtoplayfootball.在make,let,see,hear,watch等使役動詞,encourage,ask,invite,advise等動詞;感官動詞后,不定式省略to,但在被動語態(tài)中不能省略。表語Myworkistocleantheroomeveryday.

注意:如果作定語的不定式中動詞是不及物的,后面要有相應(yīng)的介詞。通常放在所修飾詞的后面狀語Tocatchupwithothers,heworksharddayandnight.(目的狀語)

Heisoldenoughtogotoschool.(結(jié)果狀語)多表示目的、原因、結(jié)果等,其邏輯主語要和句子主語一致考點二、現(xiàn)在分詞或動名詞(doing)作用例句功能主語Swimmingintheseaishisfavoritesport.在大海里游泳是他最喜愛的運動。Sayingsomuchisuseless.(=Itisuselesssayingsomuch.)說這么多沒有用處。跟不定式一樣,動名詞作主語時常用it作形式主語,而將動名詞置于句末。賓語Sheenjoysgoingtothecinema.她喜愛看電影。Hepractisedplayingthepianoeverydaythen.那時他天天練習(xí)彈鋼琴。Afterfinishingmywork,Itookashortrest.Theydroveintotownwithouttalkingtoeachother.他們開車進城,一路上彼此默默無言。動名詞可以作動詞和介詞的賓語。只接動名詞不接不定式作賓語的動詞有enjoy,finish,keep,mind,miss,practise,suggest等。補語例:Don'tkeepuswaitingforalongtime.現(xiàn)在分詞作補足語,被補足的賓語或主語是它的邏輯主語(主動關(guān)系)表語Mygreatestpleasureistraveling.我最大的樂趣就是旅游。Oneofhisbadhabitsisbitingnails.他的一個壞習(xí)慣是咬手指甲。Hishobbyiscollectingstamps.他的愛好是集郵。=Collectingstampsishishobby.動名詞用作表語表示主語是什么,而不表示主語的性質(zhì)或特征如何。多數(shù)情況下,動名詞作表語可以轉(zhuǎn)換為作主語。定語swimmingpool游泳池sleepingbag睡袋teachingbuilding教學(xué)樓readingroom閱讀室walkingstick拐杖Thesleepingboyismyneighbor’sson.

房間里擠滿了等候老師的人們。單個分詞一般作前置定語,表示該名詞所表示的事物的用途。分詞短語作定語一般后置。狀語Shesattherereadinganewspaper.(伴隨狀語)可以表示時間、方式、伴隨、原因、條件考點三、過去分詞(done)作用例句功能定語Weneedmoretrainednurses.
