chlorinatedhydrocarbons——andmorespecificallyaboutonefamousmember

acquireknowledgeinaparticularfield,andtoattainanyacademicgoals-all

requiresgreatexertionandpersistenteffort.

4.Students'UnionAssociationsandPersonalDevelopmentStudents'Unionis

muchmoreactiveandtheyplayabiggerroleintheaffairsofouruniversities

thanthatinahighschool.Andasforanysortofyourpersonalinterestsand

hobbiesthereisoneassociationyoucanjoin.Thebenefitswecangetfrom

joininginStudents'Unionandalltheseassociationsarequiteobvious.First

wecanimproveourabilitytogetalongandworkwithotherswhichmeansso

muchtoourpersonaldevelopment.Secondsomeopportunitiestogetintouch

withthesocietymightbeofferedintheseorganizations.Lastbutnotleastwe

canfindalotofschoolmateswhosharethesameinterestwithourswhichcan

makethecampuslifesomuchmorecolorful.Butjoininginthese

organizationsisnotallaboutbenefits.Someoftheactivitiesarequitetime-

consumingandsomearrangementscanevenbeconflictingwithourclasses.

Somyopiniononthisissuegoeslikethis:aslongasourclassesandacademic

activitiesarenotinterferedtheexperiencesinStudents'Unionandallsortsof

associationscanbesomethingworthrememberingandsomethingthatyou

willneverregret.Students'Union,AssociationsandPersonalDevelopment

Students'Unionismuchmoreactiveandtheyplayabiggerroleintheaffairs

ofouruniversitiesthanthatinahighschool.Andasforanysortofyour

personalinterestsandhobbies,thereisoneassociationyoucanjoin.The

benefitswecangetfromjoininginStudents'Unionandalltheseassociations

arequiteobvious.Firstwecanimproveourabilitytogetalongandworkwith

others,whichmeanssomuchtoourpersonaldevelopment.Second,some

opportunitiestogetintouchwiththesocietymightbeofferedinthese

organizations.Lastbutnotleast,wecanfindalotofschoolmateswhoshare

thesameinterestwithours,whichcanmakethecampuslifesomuchmore

colorful.Butjoiningintheseorganizationsisnotallaboutbenefits.Someof

theactivitiesarequitetime-consuming,andsomearrangementscanevenbe

conflictingwithourclasses.Somyopiniononthisissuegoeslikethis:aslong

asourclassesandacademicactivitiesarenotinterfered,theexperiencesin

Students'Unionandallsortsofassociationscanbesomethingworth

rememberingandsomethingthatyouwillneverregret.
