TheSATImeasuresverbalandmathreasoningabilitiesthatyou'vedeveloped

throughoutyourschoolyears.Themultiple-choicetest,developedbythenot-

for-profitEducationalTestingService,isintendedtoletstudentsdemonstrate

theirverbalandmathabilitieswithoutregardtothekindofschoolingthey've

had.AccordingtotheCollegeBoard,thetestlooksforastudent'sabilityto

understandandanalyzewrittenmaterial,todrawinferences,todifferentiate

enteringschools.Inordertogethigherrateschoolstrytheirbesttodomore

trainingsothatstudentscan'thavetheirsparetime.Thirdlyparentshavegood

wishes.Parentsdonotwanttheirchildrentofailinthefuturecompetition.

Theyhavenootherwaybuttosendtheirchildrentoattendmoretraining.It

becomesurgenttoreducestudents'heavyburdennow.Inmyownopinionit

isimportanttochangetheeducationalsystemintohighqualityeducation

systemtoreducethecontentofthetrainingtochangethewayofevaluating

educationqualitytochangeparentsandsociety'sattitudetowardstalents.All

thesearethebasicwaysthathelpreducestudents'heavyburden.Problems

aboutReducingStudents'HeavyBurdenNowadays,students'heavyburden

makesthemsonervousthatitdoesharmtotheirhealth.Itisnotdifficultto

findouttoomanyproblemsappearinginoursociety;somestudentsgiveup

studying,evenkillthemselves.Someotherstudentsgotokilltheirparentsor

theirteachersbecausetheycan'tbearanymore.Thefactorsthatleadto

students'heavyburdenarethefollowingthree:firstly,itisbecauseof

Theyhavenootherwaybuttosendtheirchildrentoattendmoretraining.It

becomesurgenttoreducestudents'heavyburdennow.Inmyownopinion,it

isimportanttochangetheeducationalsystemintohighqualityeducation

system,toreducethecontentofthetraining,tochangethewayofevaluating

educationquality,tochangeparentsandsociety'sattitudetowardstalents.All

thesearethebasicwaysthathelpreducestudents'heavyburden.

4.ChangeofTelevisionandRadioAudiencesThisgraphindicatesthechange

inthepercentageofthepopulationover18yearsoldinCityAthatlistenedto

radioorviewedtelevisionshowsinadayduringtheperiodfromOctoberto

December2005.Accordingtothisgraphtelevisionaudiencesareatalowin

theearlymorninghoursbutrisegraduallytoabout10percentfrom8to10

a.m.Afteraslightdroparoundlunchtimeaudiencesbeginafairlysteady

climbtothepeakaudienceshipinthehoursfrom6to10p.m.atapproximately

percentageoftelevisionviewersishigherthanthatofradiolistenersexcept
