單元熱點(diǎn)語法:
五種常見“省略”
1.不定式的省略。例如:
一Wouldyouliketocometomyparty?
-I'dloveto(cometoyourparty).
2.省略謂語或謂語的一部分。例如:
Oneofthesidesofthehousewaspaintedwhite,andtheother(waspainted)yellow.
3.狀語從句的省略。when/while/if/asif/unless/once/as等引導(dǎo)的狀語從句,當(dāng)主從句
主語一致時,可以省略從句的主語和謂語的一部分。例如:
Whenworking(=Whenheworked)withtheworkers,helearnedalot.
4.虛擬語氣中if的省略。在虛擬語氣中省略if,把從句中的had/were/should提前,構(gòu)
成部分倒裝。例如:
Hadyoucome(=Ifyouhadcome)hereyesterday,youwouldhaveseenMary.
5.主語的省略。例如:
(It)Soundslikeagoodplan.
省略和替代這兩種語言現(xiàn)象一般出現(xiàn)在上下文相同的語境中,它們的共同目的都是讓句子
避免重復(fù),言簡意賅。
一.省略
(一)復(fù)合句的省略
1.狀語從句由(al)though,asif,until,once,unless,when,whether,where,while等引導(dǎo),且同
時具備下列兩個條件:1)主句和從句的主語一致,或從句主語為it;2)從句中的主要動詞
是be的某種形式。則從句中的主語和be動詞??墒÷浴?/p>
例如:
When(themuseumis)completed,themuseumwillbeopentothepublicnextyear.
He'llgototheseasideforhisholidayif(itis)possible.
2.比較狀語從句的省略。例如:
I'mtallerthanhe(istall).
Thehigherthetemperature(is),thegreaterthepressure(is).
3.某些虛擬語氣的句子可以省略should。虛擬條件句有時可以省略if,但從句要使用倒裝
結(jié)構(gòu)。例如:
Isuggestthathe(should)studymoreEnglishbeforegoingabroad.
WereIyou(=IfIwereyou),Iwouldgowithher.
4.賓語從句中的連接詞that,限制性定語從句中作賓語的關(guān)系代詞常省略。例如:
Ithink(that)youarewrong.
Sheisthewoman(who/whom/that)wearetalkingabout.
(二)并列句的省略
為使句子簡潔,在無損句子完整的前提下常省略相同成分。例如:
HeoftenregardsEnglishaseasyand(heoftenregards)Frenchasdifficult.
Icouldhavestayedhome,butIdidn't(stayhome).
(三)(簡單句)習(xí)慣省略
1.對話語境中前后省略。例如:
一Howareyou?一(I'm)Fine.
2.介詞in,from等在搭配中的省略。例如:
Hespendshisevening(in)studyingChinese.
Theyarebusy(in)cleaningtheroom.
Wecouldstopthem(from)movingtheheavybox.
這類詞常為waste/succeed/difficulty/trouble/keep/prevent等。
3.省略不定式符號io。不定式作動詞make/let以及感官動詞的賓語補(bǔ)足語時要省略to,
但變成被動語態(tài)時不能省略。例如:
Thebossmadetheworkersworkalldayandallnight.
Theworkersweremadetoworkalldayandallnight.
在密切聯(lián)系的語境中,為避免重復(fù),作賓語或賓語補(bǔ)足語的不定式只保留t。。例如:
Don'ttouchanythingunlessyourteachertellsyouto.

單項(xiàng)選擇題考查的主要是狀語從句、不定式和問句的省略。
二.替代替代有三種:名詞性替代、動詞性替代和分句性替代。
(一)名詞性替代常用one,it,that,those,thesame和人稱代詞或物主代詞。
例如:
1.MrSmithgavethetextbookstoallthepupilsexcepttheoneswhohadalreadytakenthem.
2.1hopethereareenoughglassesforeachguesttohaveone.
3.1hateitwhenpeopletalkwiththeirmouthsfull.
4.—Hewasnearlydrownedonce.

(二)動詞性替代常用do,doso/it/that等。例如:
1.一Itoldhimaboutit.
一Idid,too.
2.Hehadpromisedtopay,butfailedtodoso(it/that).
(三)分句式替代常用so,not。例如:
1.Hehopeshe'llwinandIhopesotoo.
2.—Willitraintoday?

so用于替代賓語從句的分句,表示說話者贊同前述事實(shí),表示看法、意見等的動詞有
think,believe,expect,suppose,imagine,guess,say,hope,fear等。thinkso,believeso,expectso
等變?yōu)榉穸ㄐ问接袃煞N途徑:1)用動詞的否定形式;2)用not代替so。但beafraidso,fear
so,hopeso等變?yōu)榉穸ㄐ问街挥玫?種方法。
與so有關(guān)的兩個句型:
1.表示說話者贊同前述事實(shí):So+主語+連系動詞(助動詞或情態(tài)動詞)。例如:
-Itwascoldyesterday.
一Soitwas.
2.表示前述情況也適用于另一主語的句型:a)通用句型:Soitis(was)with+另一主語。
b)只用于肯定情況的句型:So+連系動詞(助動詞或情態(tài)動詞)+另一主語;否定情況則
使用:Neither(Nor)+連系動詞(助動詞或情態(tài)動詞)+另一主語。例如:
Heisafarmer.Soitiswithhisbrother.(=Soishisbrother.)
Ienjoyedthebookandsodidmywife.(=Soitwaswithmywife.)
Shedidn'tcome.Neither/Nordidhersister.(=Soitwaswithhersister.)
三.省略和替代在高考命題中的應(yīng)用
(一)高考命題中兩者考查以單項(xiàng)選擇題的形式出現(xiàn)

(二)閱讀與寫作中的應(yīng)用

在篇章閱讀中迅速把握句子結(jié)構(gòu),準(zhǔn)確獲得有效信息。例如句與句、段與段之間隱含的邏輯
替代關(guān)系,借助重述關(guān)鍵詞來顯示比較、距離和省略等關(guān)系。我們需要理解:標(biāo)題與文章,
小標(biāo)題與相應(yīng)部分內(nèi)容,主題句與段落、支持句之間以及段落之間的意義省略和替代,這將
有助于我們發(fā)現(xiàn)作者的思路,幫助我們更好地閱讀和寫作。
常見的設(shè)問形式:
