1.引言

1.1.編寫目的

本文檔簡要描述了RedHatEnterpriseLinuxAdvanceServer?的安裝說明，指導開發(fā)設計人員的應用

操作。

>基本簡介

VMWare是一個“虛擬PC”軟件公司.它的產(chǎn)品可以使你在一臺機器上同時運行一個或更

更多Windows、DOS、LINUX系統(tǒng)。與“多啟動”系統(tǒng)相比，VMWare采用了完全不同

的概念。多啟動系統(tǒng)在一個時刻只能運行一個系統(tǒng)，在系統(tǒng)切換時需要重新啟動機器。

VMWare是真正“同時”運行，多個操作系統(tǒng)在主系統(tǒng)的平臺上，就象標準Windows

應用程序那樣切換。而且每個操作系統(tǒng)你都可以進行虛擬的分區(qū)、配置而不影響真實

硬盤的數(shù)據(jù)，你甚至可以通過網(wǎng)卡將幾臺虛擬機用網(wǎng)卡連接為一個局域網(wǎng)，極其方便。

安裝在VMware操作系統(tǒng)性能上比直接安裝在硬盤上的系統(tǒng)低不少，因此，比較適合

學習和測試。

>產(chǎn)品主要功能

1.不需要分區(qū)或重開機就能在同一臺PC上使用兩種以上的操作系統(tǒng)。

2.完全隔離并且保護不同OS的操作環(huán)境以及所有安裝在OS上面的應用軟件和

資料。

3.不同的OS之間還能互動操作，包括網(wǎng)絡、周邊、文件分享以及復制貼上功能。

4.有復原(Undo)功能。

5.能夠設定并且隨時修改操作系統(tǒng)的操作環(huán)境，如：內存、磁碟空間、周邊設備

等等。

6.熱遷移，高可用性。
