Now lets read a letter from Jennifer to her pen pal Selina and write down what Jennifer does at 7:30 and 8:00.Tell the students how to write a letter.T: If you want to make friends with a pen pal from a foreign country, you should learn how to w

5、rite an English letter. Here is an example.Show the following.Step Reading and writing (3a, 3b: P69)In this procedure, ask students to read the letter and finish 3a. T: Now look at the letter in 3a. This is Janes message to her friend. Therere seven sentences in this letter. Lets read this letter in

6、 this way. First, Row 1 read the first sentence, then Row 1 and 2 read the second sentence, then Row 1, 2 and 3 read the third sentence. and all of you read the last sentence. After reading, please write down what she does at 7:30 and 8:30. Check the answers. Then ask students to practice using the

7、words and phrases in the passage. T: Now work in two groups. Boys are Group A and girls are Group B. First I say a phrase, and then I say Group A or Group B. The first group asks a question, and the second group answers the question.Sample conversation:T: Get up, Group A. Group A: What time does Jen

10、. Ask students to read them to the class. T: There are ten words and phrases next to the picture. Some, not all, of the ten activities on the list are mentioned on the tape. Now listen and circle the activities you hear. Then ask students to listen to the recording again and write the times next to the actions.Check the answers. Ask students to do pairwork about Rick.
