牛津高中英語教學(xué)設(shè)計單元：Unit 2 Wish you were here板塊：Reading 1Thoughts on the design:這是本單元的第二課時，在第一課時“Welcome to the unit”中已經(jīng)通過多媒體向?qū)W生展示了許多值得去探險旅游的世界各地及探險活動，如登山、沖浪漂流等；并就“Adventure”，同學(xué)們進行了熱烈討論，學(xué)生對探險旅行有了一定的了解,獲得了一定的背景知識。本節(jié)閱讀課是關(guān)于Toby寫給她的好友Aihua的一封便信，告訴Toby 暑假她和他哥哥去非洲的旅行計劃。本課時運用多媒體增加課堂容量，提高課堂效率和學(xué)生積極性。通過設(shè)計有助于提高學(xué)生的閱讀概括水平與分析問題能力的練習(xí)，指導(dǎo)學(xué)生提高閱讀速度和把握作者寫作思路；及通過練習(xí)設(shè)計提高學(xué)生運用語言解決問題的能力，變學(xué)習(xí)語言為運用語言。 Teaching aims:After learning the content of this period, the students will know how to read and write an informal letter.
