Moral Object: Its necessary to know about the places of interest of some cities and enjoy life.Teaching Key Points: Learn to talk about the weather using the target language. Review of the Present Progressive Tense. Teaching Difficulties: Learn to talk about the weather using the target language; Train students listening skills and communicative competence.Teaching Methods: Listening method; Pair work; Oral practice. Teaching Aids: Multimedia. Teaching Procedures:Step1.Greetings and reviews: Greet the whole class as usual.Then review present progressive tense.Step2.Leading in: Use a short piece of music and some pictures to lead in the weather. Step3.Present new words. Show some pictures of different weather and learn some words through them. And read the key words for several times.Step4.1a.Match the pictures with the weather.Step5.1b.Listening 1.Get through the cities. Read it together. 2.Check the answers of listening.Step6.Pair work 1. Make the dialogues using the picture. 2. Ask students to work in pairs to talk about the weather on the phone. 3.Then ask some pairs to show their dialogues out in front of the class.Step7.Have a try. Ask two students to work as a weather reporter.Give them the beginning. Step8.Pair work Talk about the weather and review the present progressive tense.Step9.Homework Write a weather report. Bl
