、suming work. 1.A.improbableB.necessaryC.impossibleD.inevitable答案:C解析 本題考查句意理解。 C。2.A.three weeks workB.three weeks worksC.three weeks workD.three weeks works答案:C解析 本題考查名詞的數(shù)。 C。3.A.EvenB.AlmostC.IfD.with答案

A。4.A.to doB.doingC.at doingD.with doing答案:B解析 本題考查固定搭配。 B。5.A.turned inB.tuned upC.turned outD.given in答案:A解析 本

turn up 出現(xiàn);turn out,出來(lái);結(jié)果是;given in,讓步。6.A.veryB.quiteC.suchD.too答案:D解析 本題考查句意理解。 D。7.A.anywayB.eitherC.at allD.too答案:C解析 本題考查句型?! 8.A.solutionB.methodC.answerD.excuse答案:D解析 本題考查名詞辨析。

9.A.helpB.encourageC.assistD.improve答案:A解析 本題考查動(dòng)詞辨析。 A。10.A.expenseB.payC.debtD.charge答案:A解析 本題考查固定搭配。at the expense of的意思是“以為代價(jià)”。 A。11.A.devoteB.putC.spendD.take答案:A解析 本題考查固定搭配。

A。12.A.WhicheverB.WhateverC.HoweverD.Wherever答案:B解析 本題考查句型。whatever the reason,無(wú)論什么原因,是固定搭配,有時(shí)后邊會(huì)加上 may be。 13.A.attractionB.decisionC.temptationD.dilemma答案:C解析 本題考查上下文理解。 14.A.arrangementsB.wayC.assignment

15.A.goodB.easilyC.sufficientlyD.well答案:D解析 本題考查語(yǔ)法。well是副詞,good是形容詞,修飾動(dòng)詞應(yīng)該用副詞,所以A不可。與后面相比較的doesnt work at all for others可知此處應(yīng)填一個(gè)與doesnt work at all意義相反的詞,顯然B、C不能滿足這個(gè)要求。故應(yīng)選D。16.A.untilB.afterC.whileD.so答案:A解析 本題

A。17.A.somebodyB.nobodyC.everybodyD.anybody答案:B解析 本題考查句意理解。 B。18.A.followB.goC.operateD.work答案:D解析 本題考查詞義的辨析。 19.A.behindB.afterC.slowD.later答案:A解析 本題考查固定搭配。get (fall, be) b

A。20.A.hardlyB.unpleasantC.hardD.heavy答案:C解析 本題考查詞義辨析。 Section Reading ComprehensionPart APassage 1 PARIS-Defending champion Andre Agassi and Martina Hingis were na
