Then how to write an effective letter about discussing insurance clauses. In this part , I will lead students to learn the main

4、types of insurance and some important sentences to express insurance I mainly exploit task-based method, project-driven teaching and specimen- shown methods to lead students to learn how to write an effective letter about insurance. By practice, students are able to write an effective writing accord

16、保的范圍包括由于自然災(zāi)害和意外事故所導(dǎo)致的貨物的全部損失。水漬險(xiǎn)（WPA 或 WA）：除包括平安險(xiǎn)的各項(xiàng)責(zé)任外，還負(fù)責(zé)被保險(xiǎn)貨物由于惡劣天氣所造成的部分損失。水漬險(xiǎn)=平安險(xiǎn)+自然災(zāi)害所造成的部分損失一切險(xiǎn)（All Risks): 則在平安險(xiǎn)和水漬險(xiǎn)的基礎(chǔ)上，還負(fù)責(zé)由于一般外來原因所致的全部或部分損失。一切險(xiǎn)=水漬險(xiǎn)+一般外來原因造成的損失。注：只有在辦理三種基本險(xiǎn)別任何一種的情況下，方可辦理附加險(xiǎn)。key words and phrases1. insurance n. 保險(xiǎn) insure vt. 給.保險(xiǎn) 確保 insure作動詞時(shí)后可跟人 、險(xiǎn)別或機(jī)構(gòu)作賓語，但跟不同的介詞時(shí)，所表示的意義

17、不同：e.g. Please insure FPA on this shipment.請為這批貨投保平安險(xiǎn)。Every company insures itself against loss or damage to its property.每個(gè)公司都為自己保險(xiǎn)以防財(cái)產(chǎn)的損失或損害。We have insured the shipment against All Risks at the rate of 0.3% for 110% of the invoice value with PICC. 我們已為這批貨物向中國人民保險(xiǎn)公司按發(fā)票金額110%投保一切險(xiǎn)，保險(xiǎn)費(fèi)率為0.3%。過去分詞ins

18、ured作定語時(shí)構(gòu)成的部分常用詞組：insured amount = insurance amount ：保（險(xiǎn)）額insured cargo/goods 投保的貨物insured 還可作名詞, 前面加定冠詞，即 the insured, 作“被保險(xiǎn)人”解。 insurer 保險(xiǎn)業(yè)者, 保險(xiǎn)公司 the insured: 被保險(xiǎn)人insurance broker 保險(xiǎn)經(jīng)紀(jì)人insurance agent 保險(xiǎn)代理人insurance policy 保險(xiǎn)單（大保單）insurance certificate 保險(xiǎn)憑證（小保單）insurance amount/value 保額insurance

19、premium 保險(xiǎn)費(fèi)premium rate 保險(xiǎn)費(fèi)率insurance claim 保險(xiǎn)索賠insurance coverage 保險(xiǎn)范圍underwriter 保險(xiǎn)商 、保險(xiǎn)業(yè)者；保險(xiǎn)公司，承諾支付者；擔(dān)保人Difficult words, phrases and difficult sentences 1) take up : 開始從事， 開始討論如何處理2) the terms of insurance 保險(xiǎn)條款 have a deal on CIF price 以到岸價(jià)做成一筆交易 premium 保險(xiǎn)費(fèi) All our export goods sold on CIF terms

20、 are insured with PICC. 我們以到岸價(jià)售出的所有出口產(chǎn)品都是在中國人民保險(xiǎn)公司投的保險(xiǎn)。3) take out :取出，拿出 take out insurance : 辦理保險(xiǎn)4) We hope you can cover the packing breakage risk for us.我們希望你們能加上包裝破損險(xiǎn)。5) So, please insure the consignment against WPA and Packing Breakage Risk for 150% of invoice value.那么，請為這單貨按照發(fā)票金額的150%投保水漬險(xiǎn)和包裝破損險(xiǎn)6) We only can insure goods for 110% of the invoice value. For 150%, the extra premium will be born by you. 我們只能為這單貨投保發(fā)票金額的110%，對于150%，額外的保險(xiǎn)費(fèi)由你方承擔(dān)。（bear: bore born/borne 承擔(dān)）Step 3
