1、動詞-ing做狀語【學(xué)案】(必修四第四單元語法點(diǎn))短語在句子中可作狀語,來修飾謂語動詞或整個句子,表示動作發(fā)生的時間、原因、條件、結(jié)果、讓步或伴隨等情況。2. -ing短語作狀語一般表示一個次要的動作,一般都可以變?yōu)橄鄳?yīng)的狀語從句或并列句。1作時間狀語-ing短語作時間狀語要置于句首。如:Hearing the bad news, they couldn t help crying.=When, theycould n thelpcry in g.當(dāng)聽到這個不幸的消息時,他們情不自禁地哭了起來。Having received his letter, I decided to write bac
2、k.二After, I decided to write back.收到他的信后,我決定給他回信。注意:當(dāng)v-ing形式所表示的動作發(fā)生在謂語動詞動作之前時,應(yīng)使用完成式:havingdone(fini sh) his homework, he rushed out to play basketball.2. 作原因狀語-ing 短語作原因狀語置于句首。如:Being so angry, he couldn t go to sleep.二Because, he couldn t go to sleep.因?yàn)樘鷼饬?,他不能入睡。Hazing been to the Great Wall man
3、y times, he didn t go last week.=he had been to the Great Wall many times, he didn t go lastweek.因?yàn)樗呀?jīng)去過長城許多次,上周他就沒去。3. 作條件狀語-ing 作條件狀語置于句首或句末。如: Worki ng hard, you will succeed.=If, you will succeed.如果你勤奮一點(diǎn),你就會成功。4. 作讓步狀語-ing短語作讓步狀語,可置于句首或句末,常與even if, though 連用。如:Though work ing from morning till
4、ni ght, his father did n t get eno ugh food.二Though e didn t get enough food.雖然他父親從早到晚拼命地干活,但是他還是掙不到足夠的吃的。5. 作伴隨狀語置于句首或句末。如:They came into the classroom, si ngi ng and laughi ng.=They sang and laughed; they came into the classroom.他們又唱又笑地走進(jìn)教室。注意:連詞+現(xiàn)在分詞1. -ing 短語與when, while, though, until, if等連詞連用時
5、,相當(dāng)于這些連詞引導(dǎo)的一個從句。如:Whe n worki ng in the factory, he was an adva need worker.=When, he Though willi ng to atte nd the party, he refusedthe in vitati on.=Though he was willi ng to atte nd the party,was an adva need worker.用 “連詞 + 現(xiàn)在分詞”的結(jié)構(gòu)If you play all day, you will waste yourvaluable time.=If playin
